Spot on. If we ever develop the Gen 8, copying pasting the O’Reilly car would be a missed opportunity. We basically had that. We can do better. O’Reilly cars are still aero monsters when you compare to earlier gens. The splitter and low riding bumper cover need to go first.

I see tire width and sidewall height equally important to the aero in this video. The way the cars lose grip is completely different. The limit of the tire isn’t a death sentence. Love watching cars move around from this era. We got less and less of this as the years went on.
Cars trailing and getting each other loose. You know, real stock car racin.

70th Cup Series win in the season finale with my Action Express 31 car. I am now a 6 time DRAFTYCAR Pro Cup champion. As the game’s sequel is set to drop on October 19, I will compete in ONE final season of career mode before I hang it up for good.

Over a 25-year NASCAR career, Kyle Busch established himself as one of the sport’s most accomplished drivers, earning two NASCAR Cup Series championships and 234 victories across NASCAR’s three national series—the most in history. Known for his competitive spirit and determination behind the wheel, Busch’s career includes 63 Cup Series victories, a record 102 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series wins and 69 Craftsman Truck Series victories. To celebrate his accomplishments and lasting impact on the sport, the NASCAR Hall of Fame is honoring Busch’s legacy through its latest exhibit, Kyle Busch: Honoring A Legacy. The exhibit features Busch’s No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry, the car he drove to his first Cup Series championship in 2015, along with stories highlighting his career achievements and his role as a mentor who helped develop and launch the careers of future NASCAR stars through Kyle Busch Motorsports. Kyle Busch: Honoring a Legacy opens at The NASCAR Hall of Fame on October 9th. Plan your visit: bit.ly/46KLGTS

I started sim racing with AT&T dial up and racked up a $500 bill. Got a popup saying I went over our allotment and would be charged $1 per hour overage NR2003 kept me away from trouble though!
Dale's addiction to sim racing had an expensive start. ☎️

I love numbers... A NASCAR win in 2026 is worth 57% more points than a runner up (55 vs 35). This is the biggest win premium in motorsports I can find WRC is at 47%, F1 at 39% It's definitely keeping the hopes alive for those 50+ points back. @markmartin and team did great work

Yes this will create a blowout if someone wins 5 chase races, but if someone wins 5/10, they earned it

When people say “Blaneys out of it” I think they still have last years points system in their head. Blaney can go win Phoenix, Dega and Martinsville, and with a healthy chunk of stage points, be in the points lead almost regardless of what anyone else does.

Because that moment could cost Blaney the championship, the drama of these opening Chase races hits way harder than it ever could the last 10 years. Thank you nascar for listening to the fans.

Are people booing the 22 or just reacting to pit road?

Every small step over the limit tonight looks like the car is going to wreck Design a tire backwards from the desired slip curve Cut width & reduce corner speeds Give sidewall back to round the peak of the slip curve Give an inner liner back Soften

Whoa this is an awesome shot
Stage 1 👍🏻 Stage 2 👍🏻 Final stage 👎🏻🫥 Super fast @LovesTravelStop @FordRacing F-150, but we have work to do if we are going to win this championship. I’m gonna be hammered down and do everything in my power to make sure that happens! Kansas up next.

Can someone explain why nascar stopped lining cars up by owners points when qualifying gets rained out? Is there a reason? Always thought it was cool seeing the cars lined up by owners points a few times per year.

Been watching O’Reilly races with my son this year (he’s 3) and the relatively consistent paint schemes week to week make onboarding a new fan so much easier
