Coins I own going into 2025 (and why I own them): Majors i.e. top 25 coins by market cap, 55% of my bags BTC – At this point the king of all coins has crossed into mainstream adoption. Enough said. Whether we get a strategic reserve in the USA or not, this is the alpha & omega coin and it’s going to have a forever bid. It’s a mistake not to own some. Think we see $180K in 2025. $1M by 2030. ETH – Ethereum has been dunked on heavily over the past 2 years. For the most part this was deserved in my opinion. The culture has been intellectually arrogant, cringe & incoherent. That said, I still love ETH, and I think we see a correction in 2025 as ETH’s vision + narrative start to consolidate & tradfi starts to bid (and build on) ETH. Native staking for ETH ETFs will also be a catalyst. Think we see $8K in 2025. Make ETH cool again. SOL – Solana’s ascent will continue in terms of usage, developers & price. It’s still the slickest chain in terms of UX. ETFs will come along with the new Trump administration. Firedancer is on the way. And SOL will always be a beneficiary of the market cap ranking game as people compare it to ETH’s market cap. Think we see SOL go to $600 in 2025, though worth watching how unlocks go in March ish. SUI – Move is an elegant programming language, and it’s the first technical differentiator in crypto that I’ve seen since Solana that has nerdsniped (some) quality developers i.e. drawn them in. Sui is my favorite of the Move chains: TVL growth has been huge the past 6 months & the basic DeFi building blocks work well. Think we see $13 SUI in 2025 before unlocks become a massive overhang, then tbd. HYPE – Hyperliquid is cool on a lot of fronts. Best-in-class perps DEX. Evolving into a full ecosystem via HyperEVM soon. Built by an elite team on top of a fair launch coin distribution. Has tens of thousands of cult-like believers. Send it to infinity. Think we see $120 HYPE in 2025 & Hypurr NFTs will cross $100K a pop as well. Mid caps i.e. top 200 coins by market cap, 30% of my bags TAO – I think we see a resurrection arc for Bittensor through Q1-Q2 with dTAO and EVM stuff coming soon. These releases will gather attention from crypto twitter folks and put TAO back in the spotlight for a while. I think we see $1400 TAO in 2025 then a die off from FUD related to both the emission schedule & the tech. HNT – Helium has quietly become the gold standard example of decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePINs). It has a growing user base with real revenue, both from phone plans built on top the network natively + offering the network as infra for traditional telecom companies to offload surges of their traffic. Think there is a case where we see a huge rerate at some point in 2025, I’m looking for $35 per HNT. FARTCOIN – The ticker is literally fart coin. It’s a 50 IQ & 100 IQ & 150 IQ coin. Tradfi coverage. Good crypto twitter shillers. Feels more insane the higher it goes up. Think there is a reasonable shot this goes for a really stupid run up at some point. It could also die as most memes do, but I’m looking for $7 per FARTCOIN. All gas, no brakes. Hot air rises. January is the month to watch re: whether this thing is going to zero or hero. PRIME – What this team is cooking is insanely impressive. As a holder you’re getting exposure to some of the coolest games that use crypto rails i.e. their TCG + Colony and a 3PS coming soon. If you stake you can also get exposure to Wayfinder, which will be the best AI x crypto product in the world i.e. ChatGPT onchain basically. And structurally, the team is locked for years + most of the PRIME supply is cached for years in Wayfinder staking as well. My target in 2025 is $60 for PRIME on its own (plus the PROMPT airdrop, which be a multibillion-dollar coin as well). Send it. ZEREBRO – Z has been my AI agent bet for a while now. There is a lot going on with this coin: the AI agent itself, the zerepy framework, the infra/platform for launching other agents etc. All of it is bullish. Great team, unique agent, and I think as they refine their model and continue to explore cultural stuff like music or podcasts and a real physical body and what not, this agent will grow its reach beyond crypto twitter. $2.50 in 2025. Small caps i.e. going to infinity or 0, 15% of my bags DMT – I really like Sanko. To me, it's one of the clearer manifestations of what crypto should be & it’s a great example what Vitalik talked about in his essay on ‘L2s as cultural extensions of Ethereum.’ They have an L3 chain on Arbitrum with gaming & social & gambling experiences. The vibe is funky, schizo internet culture. The coin was fair launched and gets burned as the chain itself gets used. Team ships constantly. Crypto twitter bid alone will send this multiples higher at some point. I also think as ETH rerates up this coming year and people look for ETH beta, DMT will pick up some of that bid as well alongside favorites like ENA + AAVE. DMT to $550 in 2025. PEAR – Pear Protocol is a pair trading app built on Arbitrum that will be integrating with Hyperliquid when the HyperEVM launches. It’s already a fun product, and I think pair trading will grow a lot as a category. They’re super active with adding new pairs. The intents-based stuff they’ve built is technically impressive. Shifting to Hyperliquid will gather a lot of attention. This thing is already printing ~70% real yield in ETH... and both activity & yield will be turbo charged with the HL integration. Make food coins great again. $0.80 PEAR in 2025. Misc takes, views & predictions: -Sol and Base are consensus growth areas for both devs & trading activity, think that continues to be the case. -AI will still be the core meta, but gaming will surprise folks as a larger narrative for H1 2025 (and most people are very underweight gaming coins). -There are too many EVM environments & that is going to make competing for developers and mind share difficult beyond the hype around each chain’s launch. -Punks $500K by September 2025. -Launches I’m excited about: Monad & MegaETH on the evm/acc side. Cambria and Colony on the gaming side.
