➠ Nairobi remained the largest county economy at KSh 4.11Tn, contributing 27.4% of total GCP.
➠ Kiambu ranked second at KSh 819.8Bn, with a 5.5% share.
➠ Nakuru was third at KSh 771.8Bn, although nominal growth slowed to 2.1%.
➠ Mombasa ranked fourth at KSh 711.1Bn, accounting for 4.8% of output.
➠ Meru became the fifth county economy above KSh 500Bn, reaching KSh 525.8Bn.
➠ The top five counties accounted for about 46.3% of total county output.
➠ Isiolo recorded the fastest nominal growth, expanding 25.4% to KSh 46.2Bn.
➠ Bungoma grew 15.5% to KSh 305.3Bn, one of the strongest gains among larger county economies.
➠ Samburu remained the smallest county economy at KSh 44.8Bn, contributing just 0.3%.
➠ 10 counties had economies below KSh 100Bn in 2024, most of them in ASAL regions.
