I got this Osprey backpack, the Purple Palace, in 2018 for a trip to Peru. It has since journeyed to Cuba x 3, Portugal & Spain, Ecuador, Scotland & Ireland, Copenhagen & Nova Scotia x 4. All this to say, I had come to believe this backpack was immortal. Last night a criminal mouse broke into the Purple Palace to eat a vegan peanut butter cookie. When I say the mouse broke in to eat a peanut butter cookie, it wasn’t grand theft. I would never leave a full cookie unattended in my backpack overnight. The mouse broke in & absconded with a wad of saran wrap & 3 cookie crumbs..I am looking for a repair shop to mend the Purple Palace flesh wound. If you have suggestions, let us know.

Sometimes there's value in just building awe-inspiring, fun, cool things. The iPhone didn't exactly 'fix' a pre-existing problem. Nor did social media. Nor has space travel. We could go on... No movie, song, or video game fixes a problem either. Yet we should create more.
