I don’t know what warped logic drove Putin to blow up a stationary Ukrainian locomotive on the Polish border this morning. What we can say for sure is that this is the kind of random and senseless attack Ukrainians are enduring every day - even on civilian railways. So far Putin has been responsible for the deaths of 1700 staff of Ukrzaliznytsia - Ukrainian Railways. They and their daily passengers are absolutely heroic. When are we going to give them the air defences they need? Why won’t we unfreeze Putin’s cash and give it to Ukraine? There is more than €140 billion in a Belgian bank account - and about £10 billion in London. Britain could show a lead. The Ukrainians are going to win - that much was clear from the last three days in their wonderful country. But we will get this dreadful war over much faster if we all get serious and give them what they need and deserve.

A woman tells GMB she was raped by John Worboys 11 years before his first recorded offence. Her testimony comes as a number of women have reported new claims to police after our exclusive interview with @carrielbjohnson in which she urged those who have stayed silent to speak out
Good Morning Britain has spoken to a woman who believes she may be one of the earliest survivors of the black-cab rapist, John Worboys. Polly - whose name we've changed to protect her identity - says she was attacked more than a decade before his earliest known offence. It comes as The Metropolitan Police say scores of women have contacted them, since the release of the ITV drama, 'Believe Me'. #goodmorningbritain #itv

Beyond honoured to have pursued, produced and delivered a story that could effect change going forward and help encourage those who have sat silently with the trauma to speak out. Thank you Carrie for choosing GMB to deliver your powerful message.
Carrie Johnson has said there could be "up to 1,000, if not more" John Worboys victims, as she said she has been contacted by people who believe they were assaulted by the serial rapist. Speaking to Good Morning Britain, Johnson, the wife of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, recounted her encounter with Worboys and the journey she went through to give evidence against him.

Speaking out takes immense courage. Carrie Johnson’s powerful @GMB interview will mean a lot to many survivors - and may encourage more to come forward. But when victims do report, the justice system must deliver. Right now, agonising court delays are driving many away👇

My dear friend "Sarah" speaking so bravely here to @susannareid100 The fact that more women are coming forward only confirms to me that we still don't know the full extent of Worboys' offending, and why it is so important that he remains behind bars
More women have come forward with allegations against convicted 'black cab rapist' John Worboys following the ITV drama Believe Me. The series details the account of an anonymous survivor, 'Sarah.' Drugged and assaulted by Worboys in 2003, she tells @susannareid100 how the police initially disbelieved her story, allowing his attacks to continue.

Brave and brilliant from Carrie. She has not only protected more women from this horrendous man, she has also shone a light on the treatment of many women by the police after sexual assault.

It has been a hugely anxious wait knowing that Worboys was up for parole again. The relief I feel knowing that he will remain behind bars is hard to put into words. Women and girls across Britain are safer as a result of this decision.

Excellent news just in. John Worboys was up for parole this week but we have just been told that the Parole Board member did not direct release or recommend a move to open conditions.
