They found their American applicant to fill the role, but a bunch of talented American IT dudes that they are...decided to run them through HR and AI software found nearly all of them were fake. Credentials didn't match colleges, colleges didn't offer degrees, 2 yr master's with no undergrad, etc. Meanwhile, we have Americans who must provide transcripts and background information repeatedly passed over for positions where H1B are hiring other H1-B.
