Canadians are paying 41 cents more than the world average for diesel. People can't afford this!
The Liberals need to stop the meaningless rhetoric and get real results to secure our fuel supply, protect farmers, businesses and families from higher fuel costs.
Conservatives are calling for an emergency Diesel Price Relief Action Plan that:
✅ Eliminates all taxes on diesel until at least Canada Day and;
✅ Provides emergency pre-permitting and tax relief for fuel refining and transportation infrastructure.

The Canadian media corporations have become the Prime Minister’s communication department.
I can’t believe that every reporter at these outlets support this erosion of democratic accountability.
Repoters know the facts, Canadians deserve the right to know them as well.
A year and a half into Mark Carney’s government, 500 projects are still awaiting federal approval.
Yet yesterday we were treated to another “sweeping” new plan to get Canada building and we saw the media repeat the same spin.
We’ve heard this before. Carney already got sweeping new powers to fast-track projects. The results have not matched the rhetoric.
Andrew Scheer made those points to reporters yesterday. On camera. It was available. It was relevant. It was left out of evening news broadcasts.
Journalism is supposed to test government claims, not just transmit them.
How many grand announcements do we need before the lack of results becomes the headline?
