The real villain in this video is the dipshit traffic engineer who approved a THEEE SECOND yellow light phas on a 45+ mph roadway.
The Tesla knew it couldn't stop in 3 seconds, so it kept going (which was the correct decision to make).
.@elonmusk - today (Oct 6, 5:37 PM) my Tesla on FSD ran a red light at S 352nd St in Federal Way, WA. Clip attached. No one was hurt. Sharing so the team can take a look. It was quite scary.
I know Tesla's answer: the engineers who wrote that code aren't criminals. The person behind the wheel is responsible. And that's right.
But the DOJ doesn't apply that rule to me. I wrote open-source code. People I never met misused it in ways I didn't control. Now I'm facing decades in prison.
Prosecutors compared me to "a getaway driver for a bank robbery." But I never drove anyone anywhere. I built open-source software that still runs today - because no one controls it. Not me, not anyone.

Someone pulled in front of me today and so I T-boned her and I ended up in the middle of this 55 MPH road completely unable to move. Car would not go into drive or neutral. I knew there was a tow mode but was way too flustered to remember.
@Tesla 🙏 please 🙏 SUGGEST tow mode on the screen when an accident is detected!!! Would have been able to push my car out of danger and help others who don’t know to ask grok on their phone how to get the car to move.

I understand that the social security conversation is political poison. But I’m not running for office so I don’t care about that. Taking huge chunks out of the paychecks of young working Americans in order to pay for the retirements of older Americans who have a net worth several times higher, all to prop up a system that everyone knows likely won’t be there when those younger people are retirement age themselves, is morally abhorrent and economically insane. Everyone knows it, too, but we’re held hostage by elderly politicians who refuse to surrender power, and older voters who, as a group (with exceptions, obviously), simply don’t care all that much about the financial and cultural future their grandchildren will inherit.

When that process is so expensive (in revenue) that 50% of illegal immigrants self-deport because it will provide thhem a better life than staying here, I'll consider accepting that premise.
Why not create a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants instead of focusing only on deportation? 🤔

A literal astronaut, who has spent months of his life in orbit circling our planet, isn't even trying to explain to America that the issues with Permanent Standard and Permanent DST are THE SAME ISSUES within 2 yrs.

Senator Cotton is right. Permanent Daylight Savings has been tried and Americans didn’t like it. The better way is permanent Standard Time because it’s based on science. No dark mornings, it keeps our time in sync with the Sun, and no more changing the clocks. Arizona has been on Standard Time year round since 1968 without issue.

FSD stopped my son from running into a deer last night.
This single action pays for at least TWO YEARS of $99/mo subscription fees.
It’s wild how we simultaneously have people (like me too) who have stopped driving 90% of the time, and actual robotaxis in multiple cities, and other people who are like, “self-driving cars are a scam.”
The tech has been getting steadily better each year for 10 years and folks haven’t noticed for ideological reasons.

This is great advice for COMPETENT women who HAVE marketable skills to fall back on.
My wife has never held a full time job in her entire life (we married young) but she has a bachelor's degree in a a field of study "good enough to get a job that provides health insurance" if anything ever goes south.
Please do not issue such advice to *incompetent* Trophy Wives whose only marketable skills exist in the kitchen & bedroom.
I have a friend who is marrying rich. She is extremely sweet and gentle. She is going to be a great wife and mom.
When she told me she got engaged, she was also speaking about how her fiance had said she didn’t have to work.
She mentioned this almost in a whisper and said she felt bad. There was pressure coming from her (boomer) mother and an implication she was failing for choosing to be a stay at home wife and mom. She’s college educated after all!
So I sold it to her as a privilege, as prestigious, as a responsibility. It’s high-class, wealth, status.
Since then she’s quit her job to focus on the wedding and the marriage. Huge weight off her shoulders, she’s much happier. When she told me she quit her job she was again almost embarrassed but I just smiled and encouraged her.
A lot of women are begging for permission to stop pretending they are a girl boss. They are driving themselves crazy because they don’t see a viable off ramp from the feminist girl boss indoctrination that allows them to save face socially.
So when I get a chance I elevate this. I wonder how to do it at scale.
