Regarding comments Netanyahu made about New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Rivera says it wasn't "gracious" and him calling Mamdani antisemitic was "unnecessary and excessive." "If you're pro-Palestinian, it doesn't automatically make you antisemitic."

We have monitors near the set and I happened to notice CNN was carrying Trump/Mamdani live, so I made the decision in the moment to put it on our show. We were getting the feed from our NY affiliate @PIX11News. It’s the first time I can remember doing something like that but the White House ban is about access, and I assumed if CNN was carrying it, they had access.
