In the current environment we live through in Australia, it’s no surprise to see the mouthpieces of government tear down a great success story. When will we learn to back successful Australians, rather than tear them down. #firmus.

Markets price the future. Even if they get close to their 2028 EBIT forecast, it’s worth more than $11 purely based on market comps. If the market is assuming a downturn in AI demand in Australasia, then the market is nuts. What is unknown is their true cost of capital, and that is now more uncertain.

Lindian share price absolutely mauled today. Malawi wants this mine, and whilst they may want to produce REE Oxides, they won't be able to. Nothing has changed here, and I am confident it won't. Doubled position at $0.47. Still think management remuneration is misaligned to market, but can live with it, if they continue to deliver. $LIN.AX

I thought this was just overstated fear mongering until I read the draft amendment myself. It’s even worse that this article suggests. It’s like something out of a Cold War novel. I just cannot believe Australians will stand for this, and I hope @USEmbAustralia is vocal in its criticism.
Labor has buried extraordinary “sock puppet” powers in its proposed internet regime which would give the eSafety Commissioner the power to assume false identities and generate online material using AI. news24.com.au/politics/austr…

I’m actually quite chuffed that one of the smartest blokes on X came to the same position I did. There is hope for me yet.
Or…… OpenAI found a vulnerability in the federal govt Medicare site - the story is about the hackability of a federal govt department so they turn the table and make it about OpenAI . It’s a huge story about federal govt data security and they flipped it All our govt departments are insecure that’s the emergency

Take note. Everyone has been warned.
It’s not a conspiracy, it’s not social media , it’s exactly what Albo said . Nothing more nothing less . We heard his intention. We heard the intent of The Greens - David Shoebridge told us directly . He said the protections were purely for children , unless of course it was about the anti discrimination act then it was permissible to censor . Then he gave us other issues that were exceptions to children . Which means that if cis women want to protest the inclusion of trans women as women they would be silenced . He said it would be also used against those who denied genocide . Good people are entitled to read Labor and The Greens words and make the conclusion about what they plan for Australia is Orwellian conformity to your political ideology . The best proxy is the UK Ministry of Justice’s 2025 numbers for the four main communications offences: about four hundred and forty-three people received immediate custody out of roughly two and a half thousand sentenced, averaging under six months. Shoebridge calls it “ good system design” see attached screen print of his words . Immediate arrest for thought and speech crimes . This is what they have planned for us . You can’t make this up . It’s what Orwell envisaged and it is what is planned for Australia . Reasonable people are entitled to believe from your words they have hidden nefarious intent toward free speech and different ideas yo their own . As Winston’s says in 1984: “Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.” Albo and Shoebridge are telling us 2 + 2 =5

Never in my 30 years of investing in public companies have I seen anything like this, blatant self interest at the expense of shareholders. I would welcome a class action against management and their advisors to recover the costs of this abhorrent behavior by $TNR.V management.

This continual political triviality has to stop. Do they (all of them) not realize we want them all gone? We want lower taxes, lower inflation, stable interest rates and less bullshit. It’s that simple and none of our political class are capable of finding a pathway to that outcome. It’s self interest above all.

I’m confused. It takes 60,000 man hours to build a 100MW data centre and 15,000 man hours to build a standard sized home. One creates a massive amount of tax revenue for decades and the other just contributes a small amount of GST. Can we please use some basic maths and economics before trying to shape ideological green policies on the basis of disinformation.
Housing is consistently the biggest issue people raise with me - we can't afford for new supply to go backwards. We need govt's to have a coordinated plan so that data centres aren't making existing shortages in construction trades worse - especially when two thirds of the value of a data centre build goes offshore. abc.net.au/news/2026-09-02/a…
