I think the future of indiehacking is barbell shaped. On the right, build AI things for AI people. It will get cloned to shit. Some will work, many will not. Fastest execution plus distribution wins. Be prepared to make tons of money one month and nothing the next. On the left, build boring things that nobody wants to clone, that will take years to gain enough market share. Slow burn. CRM for Chihuahua owners. Newsletter tool for bakeries. Hyper niche. Everything in the middle is a dead zone now.

As fast as I carefully can. Is what I strive for.
Underrated life advice: Become difficult to rush. The world will pressure you to rush into everything. Rushed decisions. Rushed relationships. Rushed conversations. Rushed timelines. There's power in rejecting that trend. Pause. Slow down. Create space to think clearly.

cant wait to control agents like this for real, not gimmick but inspired by this and a proper UI/UX rethink. It will explode soon I think, turboconnecting good design principles used to take a lot of time and effort even for basic things, especially if you wanted to make it “juicy”, and now its wild that we can just imagine anything and see it within minutes. Really feels like imagination and patience to iterate is all this space needs. I mean first time basic things like airtable & notion popped up it was kind of magical for example, the next shift will be similar, but orders of magnitude bigger. tony stark holodeck enders game 4D minority report warcraft agent control lfg

You raise, you build, you grow, you exit. That's the startup script. We're trying to write a different one: @TallyForms just reached $6M ARR, bootstrapped and purely product-led, with a team of 10 and over 2.5 million users. Six years ago I wouldn't have believed you if you told me this was possible. Yet here we are. Here's what happened on the road from $5M to $6M, including what went wrong. blog.tally.so/6-years-in-6-m…

so true, absolutely a must, especially after 30. I’ve been working out every day a minimum of 30 min (usually 1h) for 990 + days, so I’m generally “warmed up “ but I neglected my pre lift proper warmups for a week and jumped into training after longer sitting sessions -> one week of this neglect injured and I my back with relatively light weight and much lower volume than usual, took me out of lifting / running for weeks
One of the biggest mistakes I see in the gym is people going straight from sitting all day to lifting heavy with zero mobility work first. Five minutes of hips and shoulders changes how the whole session feels.

Jev is an AI model built for fast, low-cost decisions that went viral yesterday. It plays doom on its own because of low cost/latency decision. This will be the SOTA for World of Warcraft bots.

meditation reinvented from first principles
17 minutes of this permanently improves your focus: - Sit quietly with your eyes closed for 17 minutes - Don't direct your mind anywhere. No mantra, no goal state - Focus on interoception: your breathing, your skin touching the surface you're on - When your mind drifts, bring it back - One session is enough. Subjects' attentional blinks dropped near permanently, with zero additional training Attentional blinks rise with age. This practice is being studied to offset age-related cognitive decline. @hubermanlab

All roads lead back to 9 PM bed time, 5 AM wake up, 4 hours of deep, focused work creative work first thing, leaving your notifications off, work out mid day to break it up, admin & calls in the afternoon, hang with friends and loved ones in the evening, repeat forever.

Advice like this stings because it's 100% true. Even when you see someone arguing against it, just know that deep down inside, they also know it's true.
