My gold fractal: markets crash, gold doesn't get phased but instead pumps. dotcom to GFC was a gold bull, then after GFC was another leg up. After time based correction we are here again. Ready for a market crash and another wave of gold up only. SPX below

It's very simple. Want crypto back on its cypherpunk, human-liberty-first principles? Blame Bitget for the security failure that lost $387M of customer money. Laugh at NEAR for celebrating a mute button that recovered 0.13% of it. Cheer THORChain for refusing to have one at all.
Appreciate @near_intents / SHIELD for stepping up on the Bitget incident: flagged $50M+ in attempted laundering flows, froze $503k mid-execution, and waived their own bounty share so we can recover more. This is what permissionless but not "facilitating known stolen funds" should look like. A public chain doesn't have to choose between being open and excluding hackers, you can build the risk detection in and still let anyone use the chain. More protocols should take notes. We'll follow the appropriate legal and recovery process on our end. Thank you for showing up and this matters a lot, to Bitget and to our industry. @AlexAuroraDev @ilblackdragon @NEARProtocol

Another chance to… start another war? add another $4 trillion to the debt? spy on Americans w/o a warrant? fund a genocide? keep the Epstein files hidden? send more weapons to Ukraine? Usually when someone asks for another chance, they tell you what they’d do differently.

We absolutely must hold the line on permissionlessness. The core reason for the entire cryptocurrency space is a peer-to-peer monetary system with no centralized intermediaries or censorship vectors. Satoshi Nakamoto behaved as if he'd be treated like a criminal: fully-anonymous, no VC funding, no organization or foundation to attack, purely decentralized, open source code. The cypherpunk movement promotes freedom through technology, regardless of what authorities may say. THORChain is under fire for processing swaps no matter who they're from. No one other than the Maya Protocol is doing the same! Privacy coins like Dash, Zcash, and Monero took plenty of heat, and although things are looking great now, we came far closer to losing sovereignty than we'd like. If we let decentralized protocols to be bullied into setting a censorship precedent, or make it toxic to interact with permissionless protocols, then we lose to tyranny. Full stop. We. Must. Hold. The. Line!

To begin with, as a decentralized exchange, @THORChain has never promised anyone that THORChain is here to protect or safeguard people money. All we have been advocating all these years is to encourage people safeguard their own money with full self-custody wallets. So, from this perspective, isn't @bitget @GracyBitget the one that fail protecting people's money? Isn't the CEX that everyone should boycott?
Everyone should just boycott @THORChain If you can’t protect the people , it should seize to exist ! But what if Thorchain is actually build by the scam syndicates or hackers actually 🫪

A cex begging a dex for help… go $rune 👏👏 CT never changes 🍿
We are devasted to hear about the recent exploit and can imagine how difficult this must be for everyone involved. THORChain is decentralized and permissionless like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB Chain. What responsibility should Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB Chain bear when handling known stolen funds? @star_okx @GracyBitget

Imagine the mental breakdowns when @THORChain integrates $XMR, thousands of people reclaim their right on privacy but one hacker is amongst them, and $RUNE rallies to double digits.

The challenge the US Treasury currently faces is a collapse of investors willing to accept current yields in the face of both structural debasement of the underlying dollar and the expected supply that the Treasury itself will continue to dump on the market. The problem is, the higher yields go, the more bonds the Treasury will need to sell. If they step in to buy the bonds themselves, this creates further debasement, only exacerbating the self-reinforcing loop. Welcome to MMT hell.

Good morning. If you are selling hard assets like gold and bitcoin as yields rise and bond auctions become disorderly, you are not paying attention to the underlying problem and inevitable currency debasement coming. Have a great day.

Critical spot for Precious Metals. Does it need to cool off for this weekly cycle (continue downtrend since the blowoff top) or has the secular bull market trend already resumed. Week 10 of the Cycle, typically around this point is where you see what type of Translation the cycle has. Currently showing a Week 6 high, which would stick as the high, if the downtrend from Jan is in control. Otherwise if the bull is back, we should see a sharp upside move take hold now. Cycles that are in transition (Intermediate downtrend within a secular bull trend) are difficult for this reason, and one must have a completely open bias to both outcomes. This area offers a good long setup with a tight stop, and if it breaks down further, a good spot to lighten up on long term exposure looking towards Dec/Jan to reload.

If Mert was based and correct: “It’s not just privacy. Monero is private by default, making it fungible. Fungibility, dynamic blocks, tail emission, ASIC resistance, network-level privacy, no centralizing dev tax or VC-backed corporate entity, and widespread adoption as digital cash by those who need it make Monero not just private but unstoppable. It is the leader with real community first-mover advantage, beyond pumped-up price speculation. Monero’s value proposition goes beyond privacy..” @laurashin you should have an monero:native expert on your show. Your listeners deserve the truth beyond the Zcash pump narrative.
Mert says $ZEC's value proposition goes beyond privacy "I don't think it's privacy. I think there will be this temporary time period where privacy is sort of a distinguishing edge. But sooner or later, more and more chains will start adding privacy." "With ZEC, what matters is that if you start from first principles, you can't actually have the best version of a store of value without that asset having the ability for privacy." "If you have a store of value, by definition, you're expecting it to have little surprise. And one of the things that goes into that is obviously privacy. Whether that surprise is regulatory or fungibility or whatever it might be." "It can't do it on its own, because otherwise, for example, you would have $XMR as well doing the exact same price performance. But it's the entire story of privacy, quantum proofing, store of value, scale, etcetera."

I asked my financial adviser what would have to happen before he recommended gold. War in Europe? “No.” War in the Middle East? “No.” $40 trillion of debt? “No.” AI existential risk? “No.” I’m starting to think the answer is $10,000 gold.

Thats a cup and handle pattern. Expect houses to devaluate more against gold
Maybe the problem is not the housing prices but... the currency

I asked my financial advisor how much gold I should own. He said zero. I asked a central banker. He said 1,000 tonnes. I’m beginning to suspect one of them is full of shit.
