But 1) I'm for freedom, and 2) pot businesses are already operating so this would allow them to have bank accounts and pay less in income taxes, the latter of which I'd think a conservative like you would support, and 3) it will allow more scientific study of potential medical benefits of non-mind-altering components of marijuana. Lots of things can be bad for you. Should government ban them all? I guess this is the difference between a conservative and a libertarian, eh Jeff? p.s. For those who don't know this (and I assume most people wouldn't), I've never tried pot or any other illegal drug or even a cigarette. I'm not arguing this from the perspective of someone who has a vested interest in marijuana businesses.
