Climate change is real. Climate alarmism is a hoax. We need to adapt to ensure food security and energy security. The wrong solutions pushed by many eNGOs (for example, 100% organic, 100% renewable) would cause more damage than climate change itself.
"Climate change is not a hoax, it's a real and urgent threat to our planet. We need to take it seriously and act now to reduce our carbon footprint, preserve our ecosystems and secure a better future for generations to come. #ActOnClimate #ClimateActionNow 🌍🌱 #circulareconomy Source: @climate_mission

For years, activists have claimed it is racist to break down sex crime statistics by nationality. This is nonsense. It should surprise no one that men from cultures in which women are treated as subordinate are convicted of sexual offences at disproportionately high rates.

The Handmaid’s Tale is fiction for you. For us, it’s real life. In Poland, I spoke about the victims of Auschwitz and the people massacred by the Islamic Republic in Iran. History teaches us what happens when the world looks away. We must remember the victims, confront tyranny, and refuse to let another massacre be met with silence. #Iran

Due to popular demand, below the same data for some other European countries. Finland and Belgium have already crossed the point of no return, where the majority of voters have a vested interest in preventing any meaningful reforms of absurd state spending. Another two countries enjoying the socialist party as long as someone else is willing to finance it. At some point markets will say enough is enough though, like they did with France, and will stop buying their bonds at affordable rates forcing spending cuts. The longer it takes, the more painful the necessary cuts will be. Enjoy the party while it lasts, it won’t last forever.
The point of no return by Richard von Mises is worth reading: "A state becomes almost unreformable when the majority of the population is financially or structurally dependent on the state (state employees, civil servants, recipients of subsidies, grants, or transfer payments, etc.). As soon as those who net benefit from or are supported by the state outnumber those who do not, the system blocks reforms, since the majority votes out of self-interest for the preservation or expansion of state services." Does this sound familiar? Some European countries, France, Belgium, Finland are already way beyond that point, closely followed by Germany, Spain, Austria and Italy. It works for a while, as long as markets buy more sovereign debt at reasonable interest rates. The party ends when they stop though. For France, they stopped this month, Belgium will be next. The longer the socialist illusion persists, the more painful the inevitable cuts and adjustments will be. It’s pure arithmetic. Good luck Europe, good luck Euro. Buckle up, it won’t be pretty.

As a gay man, one of the biggest frustrations I have with modern LGBTQIA+ activism is that it insists on speaking for all of us. It doesn’t. There are millions of gay people who simply want to live normal lives, build careers, get married, have families, and be judged by the same standards as everyone else. Instead, every major corporation, activist organization, and media outlet elevates the loudest, most ideological voices and presents them as if they represent the entire community. They don’t represent me. I don’t believe biological sex is meaningless. I don’t believe children should be at the center of culture war battles. I don’t believe every institution has to revolve around identity politics. Most importantly, I don’t believe disagreeing with activists makes someone anti-gay. The greatest victories for gay Americans came from convincing the public that we deserved equal treatment under the law, not that society had to redefine reality to accommodate every new ideological demand. When activism becomes untethered from common sense, it stops building support and starts burning it. That’s exactly what we’re watching happen.

I think what's happening in the Western Europe is that fiscal discipline has gone out the window in much the same way parental discipline has (in fact, it might be related). The fact that strikes are too often the natural response to budgetary restraint tells me that a large part of the French electorate is living in denial of the basic constraints of public finance. This is like denying the law of gravity. Markets obviously have taken notice. It's the same when parents stop demanding discipline and enforcing boundaries - children grow to become less able to handle delayed gratification or the consequences of their choices. Societies that lose the habit of fiscal restraint follow a similar path. Spending becomes an entitlement. Deficits are treated as temporary or someone else’s problem. The hard arithmetic of interest payments and primary balances is dismissed as austerity. The bond market is sending signals saying "stop." What scares the market is something other than the burning cars. It is what they symbolize - that there is so little understanding of the need for fiscal consolidation. In April, there is a presidential election. Mélenchon wants the central bank to cancel debt, and Marine Le Pen wants to lower the retirement age. The market might be starting to fear the election more than the debt itself. In 1981, François Mitterrand promised a break with capitalism. Capital responded by breaking with France, and two years later he was forced to change course. Back then, France could devalue. Today, the country has the euro. And be careful about counting on the European Central Bank (ECB) to come to the rescue as it did during the euro crisis. Back then, inflation was too low, and the ECB could print money without compromising its target. Today, inflation is too high. As the sick man of Europe, France should consider the Chinese concept of chi ku (吃苦) - eating bitterness. It is the idea of willingly enduring hardship, delayed gratification, in the belief that perseverance builds strength and later reward. China’s rapid industrialization and infrastructure build-out were not painless; they involved massive savings, hard trade-offs, and a cultural willingness to accept hardships and restraints for future gains. Admiring Chinese growth while rejecting the discipline that made it possible is incoherent. Without a willingness to eat some bitterness on the fiscal front, French admiration for China’s results remains hollow, and the bond market will continue to impose its own, less voluntary version of discipline.
FT comments never miss. I don’t think I’ve read such a rational analysis of the situation we’re in for a long time.

Factcheck: Glatt gelogen, Frau Brantner.

Was wollen die Clowns eigentlich? The police ridiculed, insulted, and ignored them. The feminists turned the other way. If it hadn't been for Elon Musk, who publicly shared the trial testimonies, sparking outrage from Reform UK and internal investigations, no one would have known anything. You're not angry enough.

If high taxes and a big welfare state worked, France would be a utopia. The citizens would be dancing on the streets… instead they are the civil unrest capital of Europe. On the flip side, Switzerland with its low tax, small state is peaceful, calm, affluent and secure. Good Intentions don’t matter. Good outcomes do.

The mainstream media is appallingly silent about the genocide that is happening in Nigeria. Millions have been displaced, and Christians are being slaughtered en masse for refusing to convert to Islam. The forces of Boko Haram and ISWAP burn villages, bomb churches and schools, and either force conversion or torture their victims to death. Tens of thousands of people have been murdered, many of them martyrs to their faith. Girls and women are abducted, converted at gunpoint, and then forced under burqas and into polygamous “marriages” with the very men who just murdered their families before their very eyes. Those who refuse to cooperate are tortured until they either comply or die from the abuse. Some have been burned alive; others are beaten to death. Over 2,000 have been abducted from their homes by Boko Haram, and another 1,680 taken from various schools It seems almost incomprehensible that people are being killed for their faith in 2026, but that’s Islam for you. Muslims make endless demands for tolerance, but show no tolerance for others when they are in positions of power. In spite of the deliberate persecution of Nigerian Christians, the UN shamefully refuses to call the crisis what it is: a genocide. More civilians have died in Nigeria at the hands of Boko Haram and other Muslim groups than have died in Gaza. Because the Nigerians currently being butchered are Christians, however, the UN has chosen to sit on its hands and do nothing, while the legacy media has chosen to say nothing, even though Westerners badly need to know how Muslims treat people of other religions. We should take an object lesson from Nigeria, and stop importing more people from a culture that despises our own.

This is the real fight of our era. On one side: the people. Common sense. Merit. Order. Today it has a face: Elon Musk. That's exactly why they're trying so hard to destroy him. On the other side: chaos, collectivism, corruption, violence. That has a face too: Alex Soros, celebrating Lula's win as Brazil "standing up against authoritarianism." Let's talk about that victory over authoritarianism. Right as polls were closing at 5pm, a Supreme Court justice, Cristiano Zanin, Lula's former personal lawyer, ordered every polling station in the country to stay open two more hours. After a request from Lula's campaign. Going around the electoral court that normally handles this. Something no court in Brazil had ever done before. Lula had lost the first round. He won the runoff. If that's what fighting authoritarianism looks like, I'd hate to see the real thing. Here's the deeper point. Communism has never worked. Not once, anywhere. And globalism, progressivism, whatever they're calling it this decade, is the same project in a nicer suit: more central control, less individual freedom, a small unaccountable elite deciding for everyone else. A project that doesn't work can only end two ways. Either it collapses into chaos and drags the West into self-destruction with it. Or the West wakes up: a return to order, and a renaissance. Don't expect them to go quietly. For them this is existential. They'll bend every rule, cheat wherever they can, use every institution they still control. Because the day they truly lose, everything they've buried comes out. This is the fight. Pick your side.
Lula Lula Lula! Congrats to Brazil for standing up against authoritarianism once again! 🇧🇷 ⚖️✌️

The point of no return by Richard von Mises is worth reading: "A state becomes almost unreformable when the majority of the population is financially or structurally dependent on the state (state employees, civil servants, recipients of subsidies, grants, or transfer payments, etc.). Dear Chloe As a Palestinian I am afraid I have to tell you that the Palestinian flag does not in fact represent "freedom from capitalism, imperialism and colonialism" as you imagine it to do. Sorry to wake you up from this dream.
British pro-Pal Chloe says that the Palestinian flag represents “freedom from capitalism, imperialism and colonialism” from her nice house in London. In her plummy accent she claims to be like the “workers” in Palestine. I honestly don’t get these people.

Emotional blackmail is the method Leftists use to hijack the minds of their vulnerable-minded base of females & neurotics. They short-circuit the care instinct. This is how they seek, maintain, and retain illegitimate political power.
The 60 Minutes sob story tonight highlighted an illegal alien and his wife and two children. One problem. The illegal alien claimed he was a HOMOSEXUAL in order to try and dodge deportation to Mali. You literally cannot make this up.
