Today I introduced my Private Member’s Bill C-273, the FARM Act — cutting red tape and getting farmers faster access to proven tools. 90-day approval for feeds, seeds, fertilizers, and pest control products already approved in trusted jurisdictions such as the EU, US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Expands the Food and Drugs Act to fast-track veterinary drugs. A no-cost measure that fixes regulatory failures such as excessive red tape and duplicative, costly reviews that delay and block access to safe, proven agricultural tools. Maintains strong Canadian safety oversight. Boosts competitiveness, productivity, and farm incomes. Supports food security and helps lower costs for families at the grocery store.

Three years ago today was the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust. That same hatred has exploded on Canadian streets, synagogues, Jewish schools and businesses. We won't let it become normal. May all of their memories be a blessing.

Conservatives have won another debate for Canada: stopping medical assistance in dying for mental illness. Canadians suffering with depression or other challenges deserve hope, help, and a long happy life. Conservative MP @TamaraJansenMP's bill forced the Liberals to backtrack. Her courageous work will continue to save countless lives.

A multi-partisan parliamentary committee recommended against expanding MAID to people with mental illness. The Liberals ignored that recommendation and voted against Tamara Jansen’s Bill C-218, which would have stopped the expansion.

Canada has the oil, the workers and the capacity to fuel itself. Yet Canadians pay more for diesel than Americans, driving up the cost of everything from farming to groceries. We asked to bring those costs down. The Liberals responded with partisan attacks and talking points that failed to address the question. Canadians deserve a government more interested in lowering their bills than attacking those who ask why they’re so high.

Great to meet with the Fruit and Vegetable Growers of Canada today. Our growers are feeding Canadian families, creating jobs and keeping our food supply strong. I appreciate the conversation and hearing directly about what they need to succeed.

High grocery bills start at the pump. Today, the Liberals voted against our Emergency Fuel Relief Plan to axe federal diesel taxes and support Canadian energy. Families need relief. Conservatives will keep fighting to save you money.

Farms are now spending up to $5,000 a day on diesel, double the norm. And you're paying for it at the grocery store. Today, the House votes on the Conservative Emergency Fuel Relief Plan to boost Canada's diesel output and bring prices down. The Liberals can't control foreign wars. But they can cut the taxes and remove the barriers driving fuel costs up here at home. Cheaper fuel for the farmers and truckers who grow and ship our food means cheaper groceries for all families. Conservatives are fighting to save you money.

Lisa Baiton, CEO & President of the Canadian Association Petroleum Producers described the impact the federal industrial carbon tax has on Canadian oil and natural gas producers. She described the federal industrial carbon tax as a “unique cost” that our direct competitors do not face. Conservatives are calling for the Liberal government to implement our Conservative Emergency Fuel Relief Plan and remove the federal Industrial carbon tax so Canadian producers can transport, refine and produce more Canadian energy.

Three years ago today, the world witnessed the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Families were torn apart, children kidnapped, women assaulted, and the elderly slaughtered: some 809 civilians were killed, while 252 would endure captivity as hostages. In January, the last body of the hostages killed was finally returned following the return of the last living hostage last year. The return offered some closure to the conflict as the last body was laid to rest, but we know the scourge of antisemitism is not over. The hatred that fueled October 7th did not remain on foreign shores. Right here in Canada, far too many synagogues, Jewish businesses and institutions have been the targets of harassment and hate. This is not, and cannot become, normal. Conservatives will always fight against antisemitism and all forms of hatred: protecting our schools, communities and places of worship so that Canadians of all faiths can live in peace and security. Today, alongside our Jewish friends and neighbours, we remember those who lost their lives that day. May their memory be a blessing.

🚨BREAKING🚨 Commissioner reveals a ONE PERCENT compliance rate with the Foreign Influence Registry. Only THIRTY out of an estimated 2400 foreign arrangements have registered after TWO YEARS. AND the Liberals have NO PLAN to enforce THE LAW. A TOTAL FARCE set up to FAIL.

Like a typical clueless Liberal, the Minister thinks the CRA is a huge success when they only answer calls with a 17% accuracy rate. Canadians get fleeced by CRA, but if you're a Liberal connected insider that's a part of the Green Slush fund scandal, you get a cushy write-off of $34 million.

Shocking. The Foreign Influence Transparency Commissioner has revealed that only THIRTY out of an estimated 2422 foreign agents have complied with the requirement to register with Canada’s Foreign Influence Registry. Despite registration being MANDATORY, the registry virtually exists in name only. Are the Liberals FAILING to enforce the law because Carney has had a change of heart toward the communist regime in Beijing with his New World Order agenda?

“They say doctors are rushing patients toward death without regard for what, in many cases, amounts to treatable social distress and psychological pain.” Vulnerable Canadians deserve care, protection and hope, not MAiD as a substitute for the mental health support they need. I fully support Conservative MP @TamaraJansenMP's Bill C-218, which would permanently prevent mental illness from becoming a qualifying condition for assisted suicide. The Liberal government should put politics aside and support this important legislation during tomorrow’s vote. #cdnpoli #MAiD

BREAKING NEWS Liberal MPs on the Government Operations Committee just voted to block an investigation into how a man accused by CSIS of helping Iran's military and the IRGC kept receiving Canadian government contracts. CSIS alleged Mohammad Reza Ghafouri Fard participated in procurement activities that benefited the Iranian military and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. He had been flagged for national security reasons as early as 2017. CSIS sent its security report to immigration officials in 2023. Yet his companies kept receiving Canadian tax dollars including from the Department of National Defence. Conservatives asked for ONE committee meeting to investigate how this was allowed to happen. The Liberals shut down debate. What are the Liberals trying to hide?
