zERC20 Incident Report Regarding zJPYC and Temporary Network Suspension 0. All affected user assets will be reimbursed immediately and in full. User funds are fully backed. zERC20 will take full responsibility for all user assets affected by this incident and will reimburse the full amount immediately. 1. Incident and Root Cause Due to a configuration error during the deployment of zJPYC, it was possible on both Polygon and Kaia to invoke a circuit that was not intended to be used. At this time, the confirmed amount compromised is 3,348,497 JPYC on Polygon (approximately USD 21,000).The compromised liquidity was not caused by the zERC20 architecture itself, but by a deployment configuration error introduced when zJPYC was deployed on Polygon in June 2026. 2. Preventive Measures Until now, we have conducted code and system audits prior to release. In response to this incident, we will introduce an additional Post-Deployment Audit process.Following each deployment, we will continue monitoring and verifying actual transactions, asset inflows and outflows, on-chain behavior, deployment configurations, and other relevant parameters for a defined period after release. 3. Service Resumption As a precaution and with security as our highest priority, we have temporarily suspended operations across all networks. Services will be resumed on each chain as soon as its security review has been completed. We currently expect the first networks to resume operations as early as tomorrow.We will publish a more detailed incident report shortly.
