paying for the Dangote IPO with stablecoins is the easy part.
the hard part is what happens on Oct 13 when the offer closes i.e demand comes in way over supply, everyone has to be allotted their fair share, and every naira of oversubscription has to be refunded.
we put the whole cycle into one contract on @StellarOrg with @buildonstellar. subscribe, allot, claim, refund, all enforced by code, so your refund is guaranteed even if the issuer disappears.
it’s live on testnet and fully open source under the MIT license.

You can run an IPO on @StellarOrg.
Dangote just opened the biggest public offer in african history. the part everyone is talking about is paying with stablecoins.
The part nobody is talking about is what happens after. oversubscription, allotment, refunds. a black box run by a registrar, usually weeks late.
I built soroshares on @BuildOnStellar in 2 days:
subscribe → money is escrowed, not spent
issuer sets one allotment % for everyone
claim → you get your shares + your refund in one tx, computed by the contract
if the issuer never finalizes, you get everything back after the grace period without anybody having to approve it.
kyc is enforced by the ledger itself (auth-required asset), not by the app and it works from any stellar wallet.
It's in testnet, fully open source under MIT license and modeled on the ₦525/share terms. not affiliated with dangote.

Big update for Stellar JS/TS builders. v17 brings a much cleaner contract experience, better wallet signing visibility, a rebuilt typed XDR layer, and Protocol 28 support.
