Every software developer should own a potato PC. It's the easiest way to ensure your application is fast enough. Put your agents to work within it and watch the weight drop. There's no reason a machine from ten years ago shouldn't fly like superman.
My brother. I try not to be too attached to physical objects, but I do have a hoard of every laptop I've ever owned that can still POST. And a few mini PCs. And a gaming tower build that's currently used as an endtable. Don't forget the decrepit smartphone collection!
