I along with my fellow directors, cinematographers, editors, and other technicians with @manojdft as our head, had the opportunity to serve on the selection council for this academic year's admissions at M.G.R. Film Institute We carefully evaluated every applicant based purely on merit and submitted our recommendations. I'm delighted to know that the entire list we selected was approved without any compromises. My sincere thanks to the Hon'ble Minister @imrajmohan and @CMOTamilnadu for entrusting us with this responsibility and for ensuring that the entire admission process was conducted fairly and transparently. It's also encouraging to hear that the same merit based, transparent approach is being initiated across departments throughout the state. Happened to watch #Noorusaami a week ago, and I can still feel the warmth and emotion of the film. Congratulations to #Sasi sir for delivering such a poignant and heartfelt film, and for consistently bringing stories like these to the screen. A big shout-out to @vijayantony for his performance as an actor and for backing a film of such quality as a producer.
