The Public Order Act 2023 added extra charges for locking on and interfering with key national infrastructure, which includes roads. That’s not “peaceful protest.” That’s a crime. Ambulances, people trying to get to work, parents with kids in the car, none of them signed up to be your climate props. You don’t get to decide whose day, job, or medical emergency gets sacrificed for your cause. Get off the road. The law already said so.

I used to work with a guy whose wife was nuts. Certifiable. Cray-cray. He really tried to make it work. I felt so bad for him. He finally acknowledged that it was over when he came home from work one night and she had taken his entire wardrobe--suits, jeans, underwear, socks, you name it--and methodically cut each item in half with a scissors and then she laid out the remnants on their bed.
