He was also debating Benny Morris, an actual historian on the region, unlike Finkelstein who admitted he can’t read Arabic or Hebrew and therefore cannot engage with a single primary source.

Benny Morris was sitting there clearly enjoying it, because even though he was on the opposite side from Finkelstein, he knew that he had been paired with an idiot and that Finkelstein was correct to call the guy a moron.
