Did you hear the news? Stablecon EMEA is coming to Lisbon🇵🇹 More than half of attendees at the last edition were C-suite executives. That means the room is built around the people making decisions on stablecoins, payments, banking, infrastructure and regulation. Whether you’re building, investing, launching or figuring out where stablecoins fit into your business, these are the conversations worth being part of. Early Bird passes are now available at the lowest available rate. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. 📅 14–15 April 2027 📍 Lisbon, Portugal Secure your place: register.stablecon.com/emea-…

Takeaways/Reactions from StableCon: 1. Some people are shorter than I expected - a few are taller. 2. Oh - you do b2b stablecoin flows? Never heard of it! 3. More stablecoins are coming - both local currency and branded enterprise. 4. The news you see on X is only about 50% of what is really happening in the market. 5. The @thestablecon team knows how to get the right people, in the right place, at the right time. 6. I am but a humble puppet. 7. USDT and Tron still scare a lot of Western businesses - it shouldn't 8. The lines between different stables and different chains will be irrelevant (I'll make sure of it) 9. DC is a fantastic city 10. The industry is still SO small

“Traditional credit card securitizations have, at best, a monthly report. With access to this data, we have a continuous real-time feed into the exact, to-the-cent amount spent on any card programme on the Visa network.” Chris Walker, Founder and CEO of @creditcoop_xyz. Chris joined Peter Wexler, Head of Crypto Business Development at @Visa, to unpack Visa’s newly announced approach to onchain credit with Stablecon COO @dsem221.

Tokenization is unlikely to be a light-switch moment. @FDICgov Chairman Travis Hill predicts the industry will continue to accelerate, with tokenized finance developing as a parallel system that more customers migrate to over time. “The largest institutions have been investing heavily in tokenized platforms and tokenized products.” The question is no longer whether tokenization will develop, but how institutions prepare for the transition.

"Dollar access, not necessarily dollar movement, is a very big global breakthrough in the financial system.” @ddisparte, Chief Strategy Officer & Head of Global Policy and Operations @circle, speaking with @joshualipsky, VP and Chair, International Economics @AtlanticCouncil, on why stablecoins could deliver one of the biggest financial inclusion breakthroughs in modern finance. By lowering the cost of accessing digital dollars, stablecoins can extend access to people who have historically remained at the margins of the financial system. But access must come with accountability. With regulation such as the GENIUS Act establishing standards and consequences for issuers, the conversation is now about expanding access while strengthening consumer protection.
