Strategy $MSTR Covered Strangle Trade Update #2: MSTR closed the week up almost +18% after blasting through the 200-day moving average (blue line) on Friday. This week's big news was the Fed raising rates by 25 bps (the first time the Fed has raised rates since 2023) and the Senate rejecting the Clarity Act. Despite those headwinds, $BTC still made a huge move on Friday, leading MSTR to close up +16% in one day. However, BTC exchange sell orders not only remain elevated, but continue to rise. Because of this, I do believe that we'll see more price consolidation before the next leg higher to $90K. Recall in my last update that I said there was a gap made on September 3rd. That gap filled on Wednesday, but now there's a new gap ($132-$136) made on Friday. It's possible that price comes down in the near future to fill the gap as part of a continuing consolidation pattern before moving higher. As for my trade, MSTR continues to stay in the yellow flag zone, which is good. Even better is that price seems to be moving in an uptrend, which means the probability that MSTR ends the year in my target green flag zone ($200-$250) is higher.
Strategy $MSTR Covered Strangle Trade Update #1: This week was a short trading week due to Labor Day. MSTR closed the week down -8% after getting rejected by the 200-day moving average (blue line). However, it found support at the 100-day moving average (gold line) and now sits between the 200-day and the 100-day. As for my trade, the price still remains within the rectangle drawn, so my trade is safe for now. I continue to believe that Bitcoin will rise into the end of the year, bringing MSTR up as well. $BTC exchange sell orders have been steadily rising since the rally in late-August, leading me to say that I believe BTC would consolidate before moving higher. As exchange sell orders remain quite elevated, I still believe this to be the case, at least in the short term. Thus, yesterday I sold another MSTR 12/18/26 $200 cash-secured put. I have adjusted the lower boundary to $122 after factoring in the additional premium collected. This is still below the gap made on September 3rd, so my trade will still be safe even if that gap fills. Overall, I remain optimistic on my trade and believe that BTC and MSTR will continue to consolidate here before eventually moving higher.

BTC Short Update #3: Decided to close my $MSTZ (2x Inverse $MSTR) position for a +9% gain. I was expecting $BTC to tank more, but it's been showing relative strength against equities lately, so I'll just observe for now.
BTC Short Update #2: Re-entered $MSTZ (2x Inverse $MSTR) at $2.24 this morning. $BTC sell orders on exchanges now outnumber buy orders, yet sentiment is at 'Extreme Greed'. I'm still net long BTC and MSTR overall. This is just a short-term trade.

Unusual activity for $BTBT 1/21/28 $4 call over the past 24 hours. Two weeks ago, I sold covered calls (CCs) on this contract against my BTBT shares. Yesterday at market close, I noticed volume exceeding open interest (OI). This spooked me because that's usually a bullish sign. This morning, I checked OI and it had doubled overnight, which means yesterday's volume was net buys. $WYFI is announcing news tomorrow which may potentially move the stock, so it's possible someone is front-running a big move. Thus, I closed my CCs at a loss this morning. Right after I closed, volume suddenly spiked more than 7,500 contracts traded, which is again more than the current OI. If it's the same person who bought yesterday, then it's likely that it was mostly net buys again. I wonder if someone knows something. In any case, I'm glad I'm out of my CCs and just holding shares. Tomorrow should be interesting.

Bitcoin reclaims $85K! 😎🚀 As I said in my last post, I expected consolidation before the next leg higher to $90K. Tbh, I expected the consolidation to last a little longer due to elevated sell orders on exchanges. However, price still ripped up anyway. As $BTC approaches $90K, expect more consolidation as this is the area BTC lost support in before plunging back in January of this year. Regardless, Bitcoin looks great here and the bulls are finally back in control.
Bitcoin reclaims $80K! 😎🚀 As I said last week, I expected consolidation before the next leg higher. While $BTC might chop around for a bit, I do expect the next move to be toward $90K resistance. Many still shorting BTC or waiting on the sidelines will help drive up price.

Bitcoin reclaimed $80K in a swift move today. However, sell orders on exchanges continue to rise. Therefore, I am skeptical of this move and continue to believe that $BTC will likely consolidate more before the next leg higher to $90K. Thus, I have begun shorting BTC via $MSTZ (2x Inverse $MSTR) in my private accounts. As with the nature of private accounts, I will keep the trade size private, but reveal the price and date I entered. MSTZ trade was entered today across multiple private accounts at a price of $3.16-$3.18. Invalidation is BTC above $83K with strong momentum. I will update this trade going forward. I remain net long BTC and MSTR overall.

Public Stock Portfolio Update #47: Total port value: $560,315 Week's value change: +$73,795 Notes: - The big news this week was the Fed's decision to raise rates by 25 basis points to 3.75%-4%. Although it was expected, it's the first time the Fed has raised rates since 2023. Despite that, the 10-Year continues to remain stubborn at over 5%. - The big news in crypto this week was the Clarity Act failing to advance in the Senate. This is a major setback for regulatory clarity and the future of the Clarity Act remains uncertain. - Regardless of the Clarity Act, Bitcoin held steady this week and ripped above $80K today, bringing crypto stock proxies up for the week. However, $BTC sell orders remain elevated on exchanges. Thus, I will continue to keep my covered calls on. - Strategy announced on Monday that they bought back 1,420,467 shares of $STRC for $139M. - BitMine announced on Monday that they now hold 5,956,378 $ETH and are staking 5,067,309 ETH. $MSTR $BMNR $BTBT
Public Stock Portfolio Update #46: Total port value: $486,520 Week's value change: -$38,053 Position Update: - Sold 1x MSTR 12/18/26 $200 cash-secured put (CSP) to collect $7,320 - Sold 500x BTBT 1/21/28 $4 covered calls (CC) to collect $17,500 Notes: - Today, I sold an additional MSTR 12/18/26 $200 CSP and am now short 8 contracts. I also sold 500x BTBT 1/21/28 $4 covered calls today against my shares. Even though I only collected $17,500 in premium for 17 months, the premiums have been dismal since the carve-out last year as IV has been low. BTBT used to be one of my best stocks to sell CCs on, which made up for its lackluster performance last cycle. Now, I can't even make good premium on it without selling far out. Because the stock holds both $WYFI and $ETH, which often trade opposite one another, the stock has barely moved despite WYFI and ETH both having their individual rallies this year. Thus, I'm not optimistic that BTBT will close above $4 until at least 2028, especially considering that Sam might sell BTBT's WYFI position next year. I certainly hope this is a bottom signal and BTBT rips up from here, especially considering some of my frens on X hold BTBT. However, if it doesn't, I wouldn't be surprised. - Strategy announced on Tuesday that they bought back 1,810,885 shares of $STRC for $176M. - BitMine announced on Tuesday that they now hold 5,929,198 ETH and are staking 5,067,309 ETH. - Today is 9/11. 🙏 $MSTR $BMNR $BTBT
