Happened to watch a preview of the movie #FamilyBoy without any expectations, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. A truly commendable effort by the entire team!
The 2nd half especially holds the tension throughout and ends with a beautiful and highly relatable message — a situation that almost everyone has either experienced at some point in life or heard about from someone in their circle. Every actor has performed really well. Music, DOP & Edit are technically Splendid and effectively elevate the film.
Special mention to @MithunManick , who makes a solid debut as the director and lead actor(2nd film). He handles the tension with great ease and, more importantly, successfully passes that tension on to the audience.! kudos to the entire team ! Support pannunga ellarum!

I’m feeling so emotional, I’ll try my best not to cry while I’m speaking. I’m in cinema only because of Mani Ratnam sir, I owe a lot to him. In fact, this movie is my love letter to Mani sir. I’m so thankful to director Ranjith Jeyakodi who referred me to this production company. Arjun Das is the reason for me to have finished writing this script, he kept motivating me to write. He has given life to his character perfectly, only in edit, I realized how big his contribution is to his role. It is a love film, there so many weddings and 13 songs in the movie, so there were montages to shoot all through the day, it was Aditi Shankar who kept the sets so happy and lively. All the visual grammar you are all looking in the movie was sketched by me and cameraman Arvind Viswanathan together. It’s not easy to finish this film within limited days. Nash is a very knowledgeable editor, he knows pulse and has great sense in the script too. Music director Hesham Abdul Wahab just owned the movie. Despite delay, he kept surprising me with his tracks, every time when I go to his studio, he presented the film in such a fresh manner. Many people asked me regarding the update of the film for the past two years. But it didn’t hit me hard only because of Hesham, as I go to Kochi 2 months once and get a good song, I felt happy to constantly create something with him. My direction team stood with me as a pillar-of-strength amidst so many hurdles.

Once More was supposed to be my debut, but unfortunately, it got delayed. Actually, Yuvaraj from #MillionDollar was the one who gave me my first opportunity to edit a movie.
Even though the project got delayed, a lot has changed in our lives during this time. But the freshness with which we started this project is still intact. The same freshness will be reflected in the movie, and I’m sure the audience will realise it when they watch it.
