Reading @kkdumez's _Jesus and John Wayne_. Prompts my curiousity as to how the rank #individualism of the #conservatives (e.g., refusing to wear a #mask, hating #taxes) can so easily find room for #authoritarianism, whether in the home (Dobson) or the state. Thoughts anyone?

Looks like a great idea. One donation to Obama sixteen years ago and the number of emails is somewhere north of a thousand.
Stop sending me texts!! We need a new way to do political giving…. Oath.Vote

Trump on War/High Prices: It's just artificial. It's a little bit high. It's a small price to pay. They can take out a city. Let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego…

The MOST important aspect of this election is whether we continue to have a Republican-controlled Congress acting as a rubber stamp for Trump, his fellow oligarchs and his horrific policies or whether we finally hold them accountable. Republicans must no longer control Congress.

Musk spent over $290 million to put Trump in the White House. He’s $640 billion richer today. Not a bad investment. Now he’s spending up to $200 million to try to keep Republicans in control of Congress. Our job: Stop Musk. Stop Trump. Elect Progressives. End Citizens United.

False definition. To be an American means to love a country that has freedom of religion and freedom to live as one wants as long as one doesn't violate the rights of others. It's un-American to impose your religious beliefs and mores on others.

I refer you to what your politcal pals say. JD Vance, for example, telling Angie Nixon she doesn't belong in America because she disagrees with him on economic policy. Eric Schmitt's insults at Jack Smith. The lies and insults of the president you worship. Beam in your own eye.
Erika Kirk: “I have watched people respond to political disagreement with a level of hatred and dehumanization that I would have never even thought would have existed, and I never want it to become normal in our country.” @MrsErikaKirk

The depth and thoroughness of JD's soul's corruption has long been evident.
Telling a Black woman who is a descendant of enslaved people to leave America, @JDVance. I do not know what to say. Even I didn't believe you would go this low.

Most people who call someone a #communist--including tr**p--either don't know what a communist is or are lying. Either way, the morally right thing is for them to keep their mouths shut.
Fox News hosts spend their day telling their audience that Democrats are communists and communists are evil people, then in the evening they all got dressed up to attend a state dinner honoring a communist.

If "communism is the greatest threat to our country in its history" and he wants to root it out of America, then why is he hanging pictures of communist authoritarians in gilded frames in the White House?

I’m so goddamned tired of hearing Republican’s denial that Trump committed the crime of the century at the Capital on Jan 6th. We all witnessed it in horrifying real time.

James Talarico: “I’m not just supposed to love my Christian neighbors. I don’t want the government forcing a religion down my throat so why would I do that to my Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Agnostic, Atheist neighbors? That’s not love. I think we need a Senator who is gonna confront Christian nationalism and do it not just on constitutional grounds, but on theological grounds. I will always stand up for the separation of church and state”

This is what authoritarianism looks like. 38 days before the midterms, narcissist-in-chief Trump is illegally using $430,000 in taxpayer dollars to run a 30-second ad on Fox praising himself. This is what you'd see in North Korea, not America. Fox: Take this bogus ad down.

Yes, Donald Trump—to you and your fellow autocrats, China has the “friendliest” press corps in the world! The World Press Freedom Index ranks China 178th out of 180 countries, close to dead-last. The Communist Party of China controls all major media entities in China to assure total ideological alignment with the CCP. Trump oddly calls lots of people Communist, but he’s the one censoring the press, claiming large chunks of American companies, and constantly praising Xi, Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin, the former chief of the KGB. Is Trump a Communist?
AP: "Very briefly in front of news photographers, Trump noted that Xi has the friendliest press corps in the world. The U.S. president quipped that the Chinese press ask Xi for permission to speak. China is one of the most oppressive environments for journalists in the world."

Big news—Congress has introduced a ban on corporate-owned medical practices, modeled after Oregon’s new law & our lawsuit protecting independent physicians. Thread explaining the bill and how it’s part of the drafters’ broader efforts to rein in corporate medicine. 1/x
