Lane Johnson has dealt w a lot. Eagles fans know how outspoken he has been about mental health awareness. He was contemplating retirement in the offseason and he tried to give it a go. I admire that. I wish him and his family peace and happiness. He is an Eagles legend.

Starting the Nick Sirianni goodbye countdown: 15 weeks

A year ago Penn State fired James Franklin after a 3-3 start, went on a 54-day coaching search that resulted in Matt Campbell and now PSU is...3-2. On the cautionary tale of pulling the plug too soon and why ADs aren't eager to follow PSU's path: cbssports.com/college-footba…

My boss Zooming in for a meeting that was mandatory in person for the rest of the team

The coach of the best comp to Indiana is Bill Snyder’s Kansas State. He played a non-conference schedule that made Jacksonville State look like the Chiefs. He didn’t care. Those bludgeonings got his depth players snaps. That mattered a lot when K-State started competing for championships. There was a means to an end. Like Cig, Snyder didn’t give a rip about rankings. His team became a Big 8/12 — and for a while — national power. Those K-State teams didn’t have to play 3-4 extra games to win a championship. Anyone who saw Indiana play the last two years knows they can play with anyone. Ask Miami, Ohio St etc. A natty is a natty.

We are excited to have welcomed Coach Phil Martelli back to campus last weekend! Thank you for joining us, Coach! #THWND

Hey, Stephen A. Smith: Lane Johnson's mom has cancer. His dad is also sick. I read your book and you talked about how difficult your life got when your mom got sick and after she passed, you had to go to therapy because you were depressed and you took time off of work. Your mocking Lane Johnson's mental health struggles when you've been open about your own mental health struggles? Come on, man. I know you're busy, but do some research before going on TV @stephenasmith #Eagles

What a bullshit take. Clearly has no idea why he retired or any backstory.

2007 was the last time Georgia defeated Alabama in a regular season game.
