Once the glaciers of the European Alps have melted away and this process will be complete very soon we will see rivers in many countries that were once mighty waterways dry up completely in the summer, never again reaching their former scale, even in winter and some don't deserve to be called rivers anymore.
The consequences for farming, logistics, industry and energy generation are massive and costly, because the decision was made worldwide to continue using fossil fuels on a large scale.
The price for this will be very high, and the cause is ignorance, greed, and stupidity.
Don't look up.
