Three years ago today, the world witnessed the deadliest attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Families were torn apart, children kidnapped, women assaulted, and the elderly slaughtered: some 809 civilians were killed, while 252 would endure captivity as hostages. In January, the last body of the hostages killed was finally returned following the return of the last living hostage last year. The return offered some closure to the conflict as the last body was laid to rest, but we know the scourge of antisemitism is not over. The hatred that fueled October 7th did not remain on foreign shores. Right here in Canada, far too many synagogues, Jewish businesses and institutions have been the targets of harassment and hate. This is not, and cannot become, normal. Conservatives will always fight against antisemitism and all forms of hatred: protecting our schools, communities and places of worship so that Canadians of all faiths can live in peace and security. Today, alongside our Jewish friends and neighbours, we remember those who lost their lives that day. May their memory be a blessing.

Falcon 9 flew more missions in ONE YEAR than the entire Space Shuttle program flew in 30 years • The entire Shuttle fleet: 135 missions from 1981–2011 • Falcon 9 in 2025 alone: 165 launches SpaceX exceeded the Shuttle program’s entire lifetime mission count by 30 launches in just 12 months And Falcon 9 also launched more times than every other orbital launch vehicle combined that year At the Shuttle program’s historical average cadence, reaching 165 missions would have taken roughly 37 years Falcon 9 did it in ONE And the hardware reuse comparison is just as insane: • Space Shuttle Discovery — 39 flights across roughly 27 years • Falcon 9 booster B1067 — 37 flights in just over 5 years B1067 first flew on June 3, 2021 By August 25, 2026, the same booster had launched and landed successfully 37 times A single Falcon 9 first stage came within TWO flights of the most-flown Shuttle orbiter’s lifetime flight count in about one-fifth of the time What once took decades of launch operations now happens within a single year of Falcon 9 cadence SpaceX turned reusability into an industrial-scale operation

3 amazing close-up views of Starship 14 hot staging. I've flown Shuttle twice and Soyuz, and felt this happening. Spectacular to see, especially with Ship headed to orbit. @SpaceX

I know it's not crazy that normal people aren't talking about this but the fact that so many science fiction fans aren't makes me want to tear out my hair. I don't care what your tribe commands you to think about Elon, will you please stop losing the plot😬
SpaceX has launched every rocket in their lineup, 3 different vehicles, from 4 different pads, in 3 different states this week. They also lifted basically every “category” of payload. Starlink, Crew, Commercial, and Military. WHAT. A. WEEK.

“Communism has killed more souls than bodies, because its first victim is the truth” - Alexander Solzhenitsyn Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn believed that communism’s most devastating weapon was not physical brutality, but the deliberate destruction of truth. By compelling people to accept and repeat falsehoods, totalitarian regimes gradually eroded their moral principles, spiritual independence, and personal integrity. Having survived the Soviet prison camp system, Solzhenitsyn argued that a society begins to collapse when its people abandon truth in exchange for survival. In his view, surrendering honesty under government pressure destroys human dignity and inner freedom, allowing oppression to take deeper root.

when I was a kid this was science fiction. i've watched AI type for years, but hearing it and seeing what it made is a whole different level. i asked @claudeai opus 5.5 to introduce itself, however it wanted without any token usage restrictions and access to any api it wanted. it decided to write a song, make a video, visualize itself and give an interview behind the music. it also wrote this thread 🧵

I'm horrified and beyond angry at the shooting outside a Belleville synagogue on Yom Kippur, where a police officer was shot defending a congregation at prayer. We are failing Jewish Canadians. This violence persists and escalates because we allow it to. Governments in Canada can no longer pretend that antisemitism is anything less than an emergency. cbc.ca/news/canada/bellevill…

This is disgusting, shocking, heartbreaking. On Yom Kippur, a synagogue in Belleville is under attack. Shots fired at the Sons of Jacob synagogue, bullets piecing windows. A police officer shot. This is what globalizing the intifada looks like. torontosun.com/opinion/colum…
