That saying was on the back of our history club t-shirts when I was in college. We used "history major" as opposed to "history buff".

This got me thinking about generational overlap. In turn, I think this a pretty good example of how AI chat can be a useful evolution of search engines. You can ask much more specific questions and you can ask questions about things you're not sure how to define.

The director of my history department had that t-shirt! I have this tee (in stock photo) with our Phi Alpha Theta chapter logo on it. We used the tees as a fundraiser. The students loved it; some faculty did not!
