Well this is utterly shocking and unacceptable. Kim Pleticha, @MNCourts Director of Public Affairs, publicly slandered and maligned Crime Watch last week during a recorded session of the Judicial Council while discussing planned updates to their social media policies. Pleticha said Crime Watch is "a biased channel designed solely to be an echo chamber of negativity." Also adding, "We are not OK with really anything they are posting." Pleticha led into this defamatory characterization of Crime Watch in a section of the video addressing "lies and misinformation" on social media. Psst Kim, if you perceive as negative public safety watchdog Crime Watch's content documenting @mncourts massive public safety and fiduciary failures, that sounds like a YOU problem, and perhaps it's time for all of you to look in the mirror and do the jobs we're paying you to do. Anthony Duran Hicks, 33, residing in Little Canada, has been charged with 1st degree burglary of a residence occupied by a woman and 2 kids. Charges detail that Hicks crashed into a mailbox in Burnsville on Tuesday then fled from a vehicle. His female passenger stayed behind. During the police search for Hicks, the resident called 911 to report a male in her residence. When police arrived, Hicks fled out the back, where he was apprehended. The criminal complaint notes that Hicks is considered a "dangerous offender" due to prior violent crime convictions, including multiple 1st degree burglaries and assault. Hicks also has at least two active warrants on prior convictions for drugs and a DANCO violation. Hicks remains in custody on $100,000 bail.

Doctors found MULTIPLE fractures and diagnosed physical abuse. It gets worse. ...Ansley is ALREADY OUT ON BOND!!!!!! His attorney says he has cooperated and that the defense will conduct its own investigation. Thankfully, the grandfather says the baby girl is now home and “doing wonderful.” Thank God. But imagine being that mother. Months of waiting. Finally getting ready to bring your baby home... ...and then finding bruises on the child you trusted that hospital to protect. 2/ Another submitted report about the Edina shots/shooting (still unofficial): "For reference this is about 1 mile from the Yancey park shooting from back in July or whenever that was. Edina policy station is a stones throw away as well. Apparently there was just a drive by shooting at the OLG basketball court… Somalis playing basketball, bullets hit the church and cars. I personally just drove by. Bunch of cop cars with lights on. Crime scene tape. I’m so sick of this."

Kristin Marie Smith, 44, Minneapolis, is in custody on felony warrants in at least 4 separate burglary related cases. Smith also has at least 37 prior convictions 🙄including numerous felonies. She's been repeatedly given stayed sentences and slaps on the wrist by @MNCourts.

JUST IN: We've learned that charges have been dismissed against at least one defendant in this spring's Somali gang shootout outside Grand Casino Arena during Metro State's grad ceremony. The case against Omar Abdulwahab Mohamed was being prosecuted by Mary Moriarty's office, which claims lack of evidence to meet burden of proof.

But wait, there’s more… Another prominent Minnesota Democrat has surfaced in Nimco Ahmed’s political past: Amy Klobuchar. Ahmed appears to have worked on Klobuchar’s first U.S. Senate campaign in 2006. Other articles identify her as a staffer. Campaign finance records suggest she was paid nearly $8,000. The Klobuchar and Flanagan campaigns have not responded to requests for comment.
