These animals are bred to run if you want to fix the housing , I have no problem with that. So if racing is wrong so why do we permit horses. they are all so bred to run. or how about humans when in elementary school I was forced to run but wasn’t bred to run or feed to run

In high school, I was a groom at dog tracks in Florida. We walked the dogs before a race and caught them at the finish line. We could tell which dogs were being mistreated in their kennels. One of the cruelest things we would see was male dogs with wires through their penis to prevent erections. They all must have been beaten because if they acted up, we only needed to reach for a shovel and they would cower. There is no justification for ever keeping a dog in a box, hunting, or racing for sport.
