Here's the honest truth about REFINERY CLOSURES the left likes to dodge: Yes, red states have lost refineries since 2020 too. But WHY each one died is the whole story. RED STATES, HURRICANES AND HARD ECONOMICS: Shell Convent, Louisiana. Shut in the 2020 demand crash, no buyer. Phillips 66 Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Wrecked by Hurricane Ida. LyondellBasell, Houston, Texas. Aging plant, the company just exited refining. HollyFrontier Cheyenne, Wyoming. Converted to renewable fuel. Marathon Dickinson, North Dakota. Converted to renewable fuel. CALIFORNIA, CHOKED BY REGULATION: Marathon Martinez. Converted out under the nation's strictest fuel rules. Phillips 66 Rodeo. Same story, converted under California's climate mandates. Phillips 66 Los Angeles. Closing, citing California's market and regulations. Valero Benicia. Closing, and Valero flat out blamed California regulations and high costs. Even the two other blue-state losses, Philadelphia and Gallup, New Mexico, were an explosion and the COVID crash. Same economics as the red states. So here's the dividing line. Everywhere else, refineries died from disasters and markets. IN CALIFORNIA, THE STATE REGULATED FOUR OF THEM TO DEATH ON PURPOSE. That's not bad luck. That's a choice. And you pay for it every time you fill up.

She bulldozed over Sophie Cunningham like a Mack truck, the refs gifted her with a foul on Sophie, the fan pointed at her and say "that was on you," and then she ran into the stands screaming at him like a toddler having a tantrum. Hope that helps
What just happened with A’ja Wilson and that Indiana fan? Whatever was said, it set A’ja off and she usually doesn’t react like that.

Aja reported after the game that he pointed at her. The fan was able to return to their seat shortly after the incident once it was cleared by security that the fan did nothing wrong. x.com/kareemcopeland…

Rep. Ramirez wants you to believe toddlers are alone in immigration court because of Trump, Stephen Miller, and Secretary Mullin. She's pointing at the wrong branch of government, and at the wrong law. The law she and her colleagues refuse to touch. That law is the TVPRA, the 2008 Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act. Under it, a child from Mexico or Canada can be screened and, if there's no trafficking or persecution concern, safely returned home within days. A child from Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, or anywhere else cannot. That child must be transferred to HHS, released to a "sponsor" inside the United States, and placed in full removal proceedings. Then comes a years-long backlog before a judge ever hears the case. That's the pipeline. The cartels understood it before Washington did. Send the child alone, and the law all but guarantees release into the country. The child becomes the ticket, and the smuggler gets paid. I spent 24 years in immigration enforcement. I watched this unfold. And I watched what happened after release. In 2024, the DHS Inspector General reported that ICE could not account for more than 32,000 unaccompanied children who failed to appear in court, and that tens of thousands more were never even served a notice to appear. Kids handed to sponsors who were never properly vetted. Reporting has documented children ending up in forced labor. That isn't safety. That's abandonment with a government stamp on it. Even President Obama saw it. During the 2014 surge, his administration asked Congress for authority to treat every child the way we treat Mexican children: screen them, protect the ones with real claims, and return the rest quickly and safely. He backed off under pressure from his own party. Twelve years later, Rep. Ramirez's answer is to abolish ICE and CBP, the very agencies that pull these children out of stash houses and out of the Rio Grande. Not one line fixing the TVPRA. Not one line closing the sponsor loophole. Not one line taking the profit out of smuggling children. If you actually cared about toddlers in immigration court, you'd fix the law that puts them there. Congress wrote the TVPRA. Congress can fix it. Rep. Ramirez sits in Congress. Fixing the TVPRA is a solution you haven’t the heart or the know how too do ! Without ICE there would be chaos @repdeliaramirez #DObetter
Trump, Miller, and Markwayne's shameful campaign to deport children is morally bankrupt—toddlers are facing deportation proceedings without representation. Unacceptable! We must reimagine what true safety and security looks like. My Reimagining Safety Act will dismantle DHS and Melt ICE!

As I have said repeatedly—and Jack Smith confirmed here—Arctic Frost would have made the Jan 6 investigation look like a cakewalk. Smith was preparing to indict hundreds of GOP lawmakers, WH officials, MAGA-associated groups, influencers, and the president himself (again)—and perhaps even media organizations—under Arctic Frost. There is no federal crime related to “blocking the peaceful transfer of power”—which by the way, Jack Smith, happens on January 20, not January 6. But Smith and his team undoubtedly were collecting evidence to bring more conspiracy and obstruction charges against these individuals and groups. But by the end of 2023, Smith ran up against two potential SCOTUS roadblocks: the presidential immunity question out of the J6 case in Washington AND the Fischer decision related to the lawful use of the 1512(c)2 obstruction statute in Jan 6 cases. The latter decision, issued in June 2024, handed a blow to Smith’s effort to criminalize free speech and political activity. SCOTUS held that the post-Enron corporate fraud statute required some evidence of document tampering/destruction. That’s not, however, how the Biden DOJ applied the statute in 300+ cases—so those charges/convictions were systematically tossed. So, Smith essentially lost the ability to use 1512—which represented 2 of 4 counts in his J6 indictment against Trump and would not have survived a Fischer-like challenge before SCOTUS again—in potential Arctic Frost prosecutions. Even though Smith probably believed the “fake electors” certificates would have met the documents threshold. (Doubtful) But he likely planned to use the conspiracy against rights charge he brought against Trump to these targets. Lawmakers and WH officials and journalists were not being “spied on” or even considered potential witnesses. They were under investigation by this scumbag, his henchmen in special counsel office, and his puppet masters in the Biden DOJ and White House. Don’t lose sight of this—and what the country avoided with Trump’s win in 2024.

🔥 from Josh @HawleyMO: “If you’d had your way, our elections in this country would be like Russia’s, the one they just held. Oh, they had an election, sure, and they had an opposition, sure. It’s just that Putin chose the opposition, which is exactly what the Biden Justice Department wanted to do with Donald J. Trump, and that’s exactly what you were doing. Twice indicted the President during the election, tried to get his first trial set for during the primaries. In fact, I think the first trial date you requested was, like, three days before the Iowa caucuses. When all of that failed, you then filed a superseding indictment, a whole other indictment, on October 2, I believe, 2024, 5 weeks before election day. This despite the fact that the Public Integrity Division at Justice — and they must have gotten quite a workout while you were around — the Public Integrity division told you don’t. Do it. We’re against it. It will be seen as partisan. It will be seen as interfering, and you did it anyway, didn’t you?” “You filed the indictment and indeed the Public Integrity division told you not to do it. I’ve got it right here. I’ve got your notes from the meeting. Let’s have a look. They said to you. These are your notes. Call it — with your team’s notes — call with the Public Integrity Division. August 17, 2024, they said ‘a large segment of the population would see this as motivated by partisan purposes and would not understand why the department could not wait to supersede.’ They said public integrity ‘has no precedent it could cite to seek to support a superseding indictment under these circumstances.’ They said it’s their ‘advice’ you ‘wait to file this superseding indictment,’ if you do it at all, but you did it anyway because you were desperate. Desperate to stop Donald J. Trump.”

So you are telling me that Democrats: • Filed impeachment resolutions against Trump starting in 2017 • Impeached him twice • Tried to get Pence and the Cabinet to use the 25th Amendment • Kept filing more impeachment articles even in his second term • Ran years of House investigations through Intelligence, Judiciary, Oversight, and other committees • Created the January 6 committee and referred him for prosecution • Used a Clinton-campaign-funded dossier in the Russia probe • Obtained FISA warrants on Carter Page that later drew IG and Durham criticism • Brought the Manhattan hush-money case • Brought the New York AG civil-fraud case • Brought the Georgia election RICO case • Brought two federal Jack Smith cases • Tried to kick him off 2024 ballots under the 14th Amendment in dozens of states • Fought to get his tax returns • Filed emoluments suits and probes of his family and businesses • TRIED TO ASSASSINATE HIM THRICE but there is still damning evidence yet unseen in the Epstein Files?

They say keeping CNN out is “viewpoint discrimination.” In 2020, DOJ told them inviting me — even based on viewpoint — is not a First Amendment violation. I am the OAN reporter in this letter. WHCA kicked OAN out of the rotation. Roped off my chair. Made me stand in the back. Then Brian Karem’s lawyer screamed that Stephanie Grisham inviting me as her guest was unconstitutional. DOJ’s answer, on White House letterhead: - The briefing room is White House property. - The club’s seating chart is a practice the Press Secretary “merely acquiesced” in. - Special access to a particular reporter is not a First Amendment violation. - “That is true whether or not such an invitation is based on viewpoint.” So which is it, WHCA? When the club locks the conservative out, it’s “safety.” When the White House locks the network out, it’s the death of the Republic. The chairs were never yours.

This is false. No one is off the table. We will continue to arrest any and all illegal aliens that come into our path. Anyone in our country illegally will be arrested and deported. In an effort to protect American citizens, ICE has initiated a nationwide public safety surge in sanctuary cities where our brave officers will be targeting criminal illegal aliens—many released from jails by sanctuary politicians—including murderers, rapists, child predators, and gang members.
SCOOP: ICE officers across the country were told this weekend to stop arresting non-criminals, agency sources tell @realDailyWire Now, ICE may only arrest illegal immigrants with criminal convictions or charges for the time being, said the sources. The change also ends so-called “collateral arrests,” sources said, meaning officers who find a criminal target alongside others in the country illegally may detain only the target. dailywire.com/news/exclusive…

An anonymous quote is not “an amazing detail”. The real detail is that it didn’t happen and everyone involved said it didn’t happen. The other amazing detail is that the WSJ reporter is a Huffington Post alum….which everyone knows means Democrat activist. She’s one of the most anti-Republican activists in the game. Read any piece she’s written….its rinse and repeat. The fact that you think anonymous attacks are “detailed” says it all.
Amazing detail in this @wsj article about Kimberly Guilfoyle, US ambassador to Greece: she told a Greek minister, in a conversation about the collapse of the Romanian government,“We can do that to any country we want. We can do that here." wsj.com/articles/kimberly-gu…

But trash-talking @SecWar doesn’t make you look superior, more intelligent, or better qualified. If you’d led with something other than your mouth, you’d know that. Pro tip: Insulting the troops who were on the ground is a very good way to piss off those of us who protected them.

You were branched as a Finance officer and later became a public affairs officer. In the Reserves. Your highest award is a DMSM. Look, as a career logistics officer myself I always preach one team, one fight, but not when someone like you--who is supported by the cretinous, Soros-funded, "VoteVets"--crawls out of the Deep State slime to smear actual combat veterans like Hegseth. Pete Hegseth's pinky finger knows more about leading troops in wartime than your DSA sell-out brain will ever comprehend, and the closest your pinky ever got to heroism is a paper cut. So how about you put a sock in it, you DEI-installed, Commie faux-general? Beat it.

Representative McIver, "Doing my job." I read that three times. Nope. Still says it. Let me walk through this slowly, like I would with a sophomore whose dog ate the lab report. On May 9, 2025, you went to Delaney Hall. So did Rep. Watson Coleman. So did Rep. Menendez. Same facility. Same day. Same "job." They toured. They left. Nobody charged them with a thing. If the crime were oversight, all THREE of you would be in the indictment. That is not rocket science. That is counting to three. The grand jury (June 10, 2025, 18 U.S.C. § 111(a)) is not talking about the tour. It is talking about the scrum outside the gate when officers moved to arrest Mayor Baraka. A forearm into an HSI agent. Grabbing him. Both forearms into an ICE officer. Those are the allegations. You pleaded not guilty, and you get the presumption of innocence. Good. Remember that feeling, because we are coming back to it. Now the Speech or Debate Clause. Article I, Section 6. It protects what you SAY in Congress. It does not cover your elbows. On August 26, 2026, the Third Circuit looked at Counts 1 and 2 and called the alleged contact "unambiguously non-legislative." Two federal courts. Same answer. At some point the wheel is spinning but the hamster checked out a while ago. And "17 years"? Come on. That is every maximum stacked end to end, with zero reported officer injuries. Anyone who is not a few fries short of a Happy Meal knows that is the scariest number you can build, not the likely one. Quinn's Law #4 in the wild: liberalism only works when people are scared into believing they need it. Bold. Wrong, but bold. Here is the part that makes me want to bang my head on a lab table. You are a member of CONGRESS. You WRITE immigration law. The Immigration and Nationality Act came out of your building. The executive enforces it (Article II, "take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed"). You have a drafting office and a voting card, and you are complaining on X like the elevator never made it to the top floor. Next thing you know, a lawmaker will decide the fastest way to change a law is to physically block the officers enforcing it... wait. Somebody just handed me the indictment. Quinn's Law #23: liberals love the law, right up until they don't agree with it. Your party has decided the people enforcing the law are villains and the people obstructing it are heroes. That is how you become the party of crime without passing a single bill. You're not the brightest bulb in the chandelier if you think nobody notices. And "merciless." That one got me. I was a combat medic and a civilian paramedic. I have stood next to cops on the worst nights of other people's lives. They have kids. Mortgages. When a sitting member of Congress calls them merciless, some guy who is a couple sandwiches short of a picnic decides he's the hero of the movie. And then somebody like me gets called to the scene. Turn it down. That is ALSO your job. One more thing, and I mean this part sincerely. You are an expectant mother. Congratulations. You have a whole lot more to think about right now than talking points and party politics. You are also a representative, and your district takes its cues from you. Is this what you want them to learn? That getting physical with public servants at a gate is just "doing my job"? Oh, wait. Never mind. That only counts when the public servant is a cop. If somebody put a forearm into an expectant mother who happens to be a congresswoman, it would lead every network for a month. I forgot how the rules work. And the irony, which is thick as a brick: you're getting a grand jury, appeals, a rehearing petition, deadline extensions. That's due process. The same system of courts and hearings you call "merciless" when it applies to somebody else. Told you we'd come back to it. Honest question: what have you done for NJ-10 lately that did not involve a camera and a gate? But what do I know, I am only someone who actually read the indictment AND the Third Circuit opinion instead of the fundraising email. @TPUSA #MAGA #Trump @JoJoFromJerz @atrupar @TheYoungTurks

On September 20, ICE officers attempted a stop of a vehicle registered to a known criminal illegal alien with multiple alcohol related driving offenses who is also wanted in Guatemala for a drunk and disorderly charge, during a targeted enforcement operation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As officers attempted the stop to confirm the identity of the driver, the driver of the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. In the interest of public safety, ICE officers immediately discontinued the enforcement action. A short time later, officers saw smoke nearly half a mile from the attempted stop and discovered the vehicle had crashed into a tree and caught fire. Officers immediately attempted to render aid and extinguish the fire until the Grand Rapids Police Department and Fire Department arrived. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by local officials. Officials also estimated that the suspect’s vehicle was traveling well over 100 miles per hour when the crash occurred.   Upon further investigation the driver of the vehicle was Mario David Coronado-Juarez and not the vehicle’s registered owner. Coronado-Juarez was an illegal alien from Guatemala who was previously removed by Border Patrol from the United States in 2021. He re-entered the country, a felony, at an unknown date and location.   Resisting officers and evading arrest is dangerous for our officers, illegal aliens, and the public.
ICE killed another man. His name is Mario David Coronado Juarez. Mario lived and worked in Michigan for 7 years as a construction worker, sending money home to his kids in Guatemala. ICE pursued him in an unmarked car, causing a fatal car crash. These killings have to stop. #AbolishICE.

The “studies” that led to these numbers are incredibly flawed. For example, say a patient has a small intracranial hemorrhage from a fall. She’s on eliquis, a blood thinner, because she’s at risk of a stroke. What does the neurosurgery team do with the eliquis? Say they hold it. Two days later she has a massive stroke and dies. That would count as a medical error in the aforementioned studies. Say they don’t hold it. The bleeding in her brain progresses and she dies. That would also count as medical error. Doctors often walk in to advanced disease processes, many of which have no reliable data on the right course of treatment. Many treatment decisions have a potential for bad outcomes either way. Sometimes you do surgery and the patient has a complication. Sometimes you don’t do surgery and the disease progresses. We don’t have a crystal ball. It’s not like piloting an airplane, unless the pilot was taking over the flight while the plane was on fire, one engine was out, and it was heading straight at a mountain. Doctors do make errors, and egregious ones should be punished, but these numbers are a joke.
Joe Rogan and Andrew Huberman look up how many Americans die from medical error each year, and the answer floors them both. ROGAN: “Okay, so medical error is responsible for 251,000 deaths a year.” HUBERMAN: “Whoa, that’s crazy.” ROGAN: “Do you understand how insane that is? Imagine if that was Pop-Tarts.” That number comes from a 2016 Johns Hopkins study published in the BMJ. It estimated medical errors kill 251,454 Americans a year, which makes them the third leading cause of death, behind only heart disease and cancer. And it gets worse. A 2023 Johns Hopkins and Harvard study found that misdiagnosis alone kills an estimated 371,000 Americans a year and leaves another 424,000 permanently disabled. If an airline killed that many people, nobody would ever board a plane again.
