BREAKING: Iran is now seriously preparing for a possible renewal of major U.S. bombing and is ready for a significantly more intense war, with a senior Iranian official warning that any new American attack, limited or otherwise, will be treated as an all out war and met with the “hardest” response, per Bloomberg. The warning comes as Donald Trump’s entire top national security team reportedly went dark at Camp David for hours of closed-door talks about renewing the war, with JD Vance, Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth, General Dan Caine, John Ratcliffe and Steve Witkoff all were present. Iranian officials have repeatedly warned that the previous era of “proportionate responses” is over, while Tehran continues rebuilding its military capabilities and maintaining a hardened posture around the Strait of Hormuz. Iran is now openly preparing for the possibility of another U.S. attack and warning that even a limited strike would trigger an all out response.

BREAKING: Saudi Arabia plans 100,000-troop Yemen offensive to retake the Bab el-Mandeb from Yemen's Houthis, without any US support and all troops under Saudi command, supported by Saudi air strikes and expected to launch in the coming weeks, per Reuters. Crown Prince MBS is weighing a narrow push along the coast around Bab el-Mandeb or a broader offensive on multiple fronts, with synchronized attacks in Al-Bayda, Marib, Taiz and Al-Jawf. The US and Saudi Arabia's other allies are not expected to take any part in combat operations, after Trump refused MBS's requests for US strikes and then called off strikes with bombs already loaded on US warplanes two weeks ago.

BREAKING: Iran is now launching around 30 drone and 10 anti ship missile attacks every week against commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, with at least five vessels were struck in just four days, happening despite heavy U.S. military escort overhead, according to a New York Times investigation. The attacks began September 28 with the Kuwait flagged VLCC Al Funtas, followed by Mersin Prosperity, Sinbad and Al Ruwais on September 29, with another Kuwaiti VLCC, Kazimah III, reportedly hit Thursday. Iran has placed several of the targeted vessels on its “violating ships” list, accusing them of abnormal activity and possible weapons transfers. The attacks come despite continued US efforts to escort commercial shipping through the Strait. US forces have not responded to any of these strikes.

IRAN WAR ANALYSIS: I would be EXTREMELY skeptical of anyone making the assertion that the current level of flows leaving the Strait of Hormuz are remotely sustainable in even the short term. My thought is that it is LIKELY we are seeing increased flows due to the extreme likelihood of Iranian escalation in the coming days and weeks, and near certain American escalation after the midterms. It is highly likely we are seeing ultra high-risk transits taking place, and will not see nearly as many vessels conducting transits in the weeks to come.

PREDICTION: The Fed will YET AGAIN fail to reach (and maintain) their inflation target just as they have for 5 years straight. The excuses will be vast and sundry, but the real reason is because we are in fiscal dominance.

BREAKING: Yemen’s Houthis have struck Saudi Aramco’s Yanbu North Terminal inside the Yanbu Industrial Port, with a nearby oil tanker master reporting an aerial strike on the terminal that caused a port fire and led port authorities to temporarily suspend loading operations, per initial reports. It would be the first reported strike inside the port itself rather than on the infrastructure feeding it. The Yanbu North Terminal is a major crude oil export terminal, with a crude loading capacity of around 1.5 million barrels per day.

BREAKING: More than 2,000 US Marines are now heading to the Middle East aboard the Makin Island amphibious ready group, with a US official saying three aircraft carriers and two amphibious landing groups will be deployed around Iran by November for new operations.
