Otherwise, not a single person in my office eats non-veg on Tuesdays. And where I live, in my area, nobody eats non-veg on Tuesdays either. Even non-veg restaurants remain closed on Tuesdays.
So in a country like this, when Rahul Gandhi repeatedly eats non-veg, sometimes on Tuesdays and sometimes during Sawan, it is obvious that Hindu sentiments will be hurt. And Rahul Gandhi openly eats it. If he seriously wants the Hindu vote and wants to be a leader of Hindus, then he should also properly respect Hindu faith and sentiments, because Tuesday is a very sacred day for Hindus.
A Hindu may eat non-veg on any other day except Tuesday, but they won't eat it on Tuesday. And Rahul Gandhi is specifically eating non-veg on Tuesdays, while his blind supporters also come forward to defend him.
This is one of the reasons why Congress is shrinking across India and continuously losing elections - because these people simply don't care about Hindu faith and sentiments.

The main attraction is the religious occasion. No one will visit these art installations without the occasion. Religiosity comes first then everything follows
To me, Durga Puja will always be a public art festival, btw. Not a mere religious ocassion.
Artistry & unity are at their peak during this time.
That's why, it'll always be 'Durga Puja Art' to me.

Whatever bit of charm was left in the hill stations of Himachal, Uttarakhand and to some extent J&K has been killed off in the last decade or so because these destinations are easy to reach and affordable for the dehati-chhapri-pendu crowd. Anyone with 5K-10K in his pockets thinks he can make a quick weekend getaway to these hill stations and there are plenty of cheap modes of transport which will take them there within 5 to 10 hours. Goa has been spared the worst of the degradation between is physically distant from the Indo-Gangetic plains but its days are also numbered as a premium tourist destination.
Is this what a long weekend in Manali looks like now? 👀
