the art world calls art that goes after the money printers "too political" incorrect. money dictates what you can do, when you can retire & who you can say no to. every dollar they print makes the life you want cost more. that's personal

Which way Western man?
More than 2,000 years ago, Aristotle laid out the foundational ideas of Western civilization: the Poetics, which taught us how to tell a story, and the Ethics and Politics, where he defined the essential nature of sound money. Money, he observed: must be durable, portable, divisible, and scarce. For centuries, empires rose when they honored those principles - and collapsed when they abandoned them. Devaluing currency, borrowing against the future, and eroding the character of the citizenry led every single one to decadence, ruin, and historical irrelevance. Then came Bitcoin. Bitcoin takes Aristotle’s framework to near perfection: programmatic scarcity, near-infinite divisibility, and incorruptible durability across time and space. Pure, peer-to-peer electronic cash. Then came "cRyPTo." And shitcoiners gazed upon this marvel of human ingenuity and decided that what the world ackshually needed was not permissionless, unconfiscatable, decentralized money, but a centralized Rube Goldberg machine of faster, "more efficient" payments built on a layer cake of third parties, pre-mined tokens, and infinite degeneracy. El Salvador is Bitcoin Country for a reason. We intend to win for generations to come.

13 years of school. Not one hour on: What money is. Who creates it. Why it shrinks. Who profits when it does. You learned the mitochondria. You learned trigonometry. You never learned the one system that would rule every day of your adult life. Ask yourself if that's an accident.

There is something obscene about trading the only life you get for money someone else can create out of thin air. You worked weekends, missed birthdays, and came home after your kids were already asleep. They changed a number on a screen. And somehow, you’re the one who needs to be more responsible with money. bitcoin:native

Good evening. Hundreds of millions of people are going to wish they had considered and studied bitcoin instead of simply dismissing it. Have a great night.

Talk about slowly then .... Just got off a call with a waste mgmt consortium who have 1. significant methane emissions on multiple landfills affecting air quality, tourism, human health 2. concluded the only viable solution is Bitcoin mining 3. are asking when we can visit They don't want one Bitcoin on of their landfills, they want it piloted on one, then rolled out to all the other major emitters. And because methane is such a powerful greenhouse gas, just one of these landfill will offset the emissions of a whole midsized city. 3 years ago, landfill owners didn't want to know us/ Fellow-environmentalists scoffed at the idea Bitcoin mining could do anything good for the environment. Fellow investors said things like "remind me the name of your fund, so I'm sure never to invest" The impact that Bitcoin can make for people and planet is only just beginning.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you “got lucky” for buying Bitcoin. That’s what people say every cycle when they weren’t paying attention. When you’ve been here for years, you know it was never just luck. Luck is finding money on the street. Buying Bitcoin before the crowd understands it takes logic, discipline, and emotional endurance. People only call it luck after the reward shows up. So no, you didn’t get lucky. You saw something early, you believed in it, and you paid the psychological price before everyone else wanted the result.

I'm really really proud of this work and excited to share it over the coming weeks. Terrific essay by the one and only @LynAldenContact to kick things off.
This morning, we launched a new educational campaign aimed at helping Americans understand bitcoin and its place in the world today. Our campaign will stretch over 12 weeks and includes an educational website, gettingbitcoin.org, a series of 6 essays by leading thinkers in bitcoin, 6 full-page print ads, and 24 quarter-page print ads in the Wall Street Journal. Each of the six essays will appear as sponsored content in the Wall Street Journal, beginning with today’s by @LynAldenContact . The public discourse about bitcoin should really be better. This is our attempt to do something about it.

Bitcoin maximalism will continue to thrive regardless of strawman eulogies because it is anti-fragile, false predictions only strengthen it as we learn from them.
