The week began on Tuesday when Chairman @BobLatta led an Energy hearing on affordable nuclear energy, including the Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses and the work of storing, recycling, and disposing of spent nuclear fuel in voluntary host states, and Chairman @RepMGriffith led a Health hearing examining legislative proposals to reform Medicare provider payment and bolster health care cybersecurity.

Later that day, Chairman @RepGuthrie took to the House floor in support of @HouseCommerce bills to support energy affordability, strengthen public health efforts, and promote American travel as well as turning over one of the Biden-Harris EPA waivers.

On Wednesday, Chairman @RepGuthrie then led a Full Committee markup, reporting 16 bills to the House floor to enhance American technological development and strengthen our communications networks. The House passed the bipartisan Ratepayer Protection Act by a vote of 417-3 and approved the second resolution overturning the Biden-Harris EPA waivers behind California’s costly maritime emissions mandates.

The House also passed H.J. Res. 210, overturning a Biden-Harris waiver that let California drive up costs for American families.
