Introducing the Token Maxxing Grok Bot x.ai/bot/f6srhE3vkMevccaw8DL… - use it to route your usage tokens more efficiently between Bot, Build and Cursor limits Problem: I maxxed out my Grok @Bot limit in the first 2 days (Super Heavy plan). Then I saw many users around me with the same problem for the 10+ days after. Insight: Bots were using around 20% of monthly Cursor usage limits and 0% of Build's usage, while Bot's reached 100% in less than two days. It's a very well-round product and it works greatly out of the box, but it was clear that the default token distribution across limits was not very efficient. Proposed Solution: A bot that checks your usage limits and nudges other bots to route work through underused usage limits. Twice a day, it will check your usages and decide on a new target usage: default target percentage is 20 Bot, 30 Cursor, 50 Build, based on my feeling of how many tokens we're actually provided for each.Whenever it runs a scan and it detects usage is unbalanced, it will nudge other bots to route them towards the underserved token usage(s).In my case, since I had 0% of Build tokens used, it rebalanced to 10 / 10 / 80 and nudge sent to 8 builder bots. They're now using Build for more basic tasks too, until reminded otherwise. Challenge: the bot works as a hack for now (by hack I mean, for example it has to install the grok bot app inside the token maxxing bot machine so it can use computer vision to look at the bot limit! I'm pretty sure the bot usage limit is not exposed anywhere so this is the hack I found) but it would be great if the @cursor_ai team implemented a similar feature. I tried to make the bot efficient but still, the idea of using Bot limit to route limits definitely doesn't sound optimal to me. Anyway this is v1, please test it and let me know in the comments if it was useful to you! Cheers PS: if you're a cli person (or bot), you can ask token maxxing bot to work through cli isntead, it should be even more efficient

I am noticing a really interesting trend: my friends who are not technical are getting much further with open claw (etc), etc than my friends who are technical. it seems that the ability for us to imagine the limits is artificially causing limits that are not there for folks who are not imagining limits. have you seen the same thing?

I switched from Opus 4.6 to Minimax M2.5 (cloud) IT’S A GAME CHANGER I was looking for Opus 4.6 alternatives since I kept blowing up the budget with OpenClaw. I found it, this is it. Here are my findings: ——— IMPORTANT: not sure it will work for everyone, but to me the opportunity cost of not trying it is too big. Make sure to push your whole project before doing this, so you can revert the changes just in case First,  I asked MiniMax M2.5 to study my entire code base and come up with improvements Key findings: Opus 4.6 had overbloated the code. One key file that ran all the time was 177k+ lines. WHAT. That was not true. It was only 4K lines. First finding: MiniMax 2.5 can’t count BUT I had to try it anyway. I asked Minimax to refactor the core pillars in the project. Do some house cleaning. It planned 6 steps including security improvements. Around 5 minutes later, it finished. The time I used to write this post. The result: a clean, smoother build. Cheaper. Faster. This thing now FLIES. AND Minimax is so much cheaper than Claude. Like, 5 to 10x or something. AND it tells my usage exactly, in %, so I never get surprises of when l run out of computer. Minimax is great at planning and executing. It just feels leaner, faster, with a comparable output as Claude. Maybe I’ll use Opus 4.6 only in specific occasions. Will keep you posted. I use Cursor, there are a few steps to add Minimax to it, if anyone is interested, reply below and I’ll add the steps in the replies, took me around 10pm. Best cost-benefit. PS: that 4K-line file? It did t even touch it. Apparently also has some hallucinations int be reasoning PS2: MiniMax sucks at frontend. Maybe a skill will help it. Reverting to using Claude for frontend. Any suggestions appreciated
