My jaw dropped when I saw they covered the entire front lawn of the school with hundreds of American flags. The illuminated sign says "[School] Remembers".

I actually think this is underestimating the amount of suicidal empathy some people have. Some of these psychos would forgive and put this man up in their home (where he would then murder them as well)
if a homeless schizo man with way less mental health support than lindsey clancy broke into your home and killed your three children, you wouldn’t be debating if he actually meant to do it. you’d just want him put down like a dog.

My Mom always believed that it was so wrong to find someone "NOT GUILTY by reason of insanity." They are still guilty. The only thing insanity should change is where they serve their time. They should get the same penalty for the crime, even if part of it is served in a mental hospital. If they are found to be competent after five years, they shouldn't be released. They should be moved to prison to finish out the sentence.

The problem with reaching a verdict for Lindsay Clancy is that the commonwealth did such a piss poor job of proving her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. I watched the entire trial. It was a disaster. If I were an honorable juror, I’d have to vote NGRI. But I’m not. She’s guilty. Murder 1. Done.
