So sad. We were on our way to a better society with an incorruptible PM. MSM billionaire owners, Trump, Musk & others wanted the removal of a strong UK leader who wouldn’t do their bidding. The PLP obliged! Foreign interference at its worst enabled by our elected representatives

Healey forced a government out of office and now is faced with the reality he was told was the reality by Starmer. He undermined us. Only Starmer’s credibility saved us with allies. Healey needs to resign simply because of the uncertainty and damage he has caused.

Used to be Labour Oppositions that repudiated their own recent time in Office. Now it's the turn of the Tory Party, as it makes a series of reckless promises, seeking to re-live 'glory days' from 1980s - all framed by an excruciating Conference performance from Shadow Chancellor.

Listening to Griffiths -Tory Shadow Chancellor. Same old same old. Pretty dire really. Our country is not well served with quality politicians. There are very few - across the board. Party leaders are fearful of competition- so those MPs with talent languish on the back benches.

15th October 2024. PM Starmer received four tickets worth £2,800 from Taylor Swifts record label for one of her concerts. PM Starmer paid back Universal for the cost of the tickets. Sky News kept the outrage going for weeks. A much bigger story. Man City while Burnham was mayor.

A giant penny dropping as Labour faithful realise that Burnham's conference speech about “vested interests” & a country w/ “power held in too few hands" contradicts his time as mayor where Manchesters future & power was placed in too few hands Circuit breaker or nuclear fall out?

Talking of vibes. I'm definitely getting the vibe from Labour MP's they are all very needy, and that they are looking for Andy to tuck them in at night. It all feels a bit like 'The Walton's'.

'Burnham laid down the gauntlet. The opposition have nowhere to go' Maybe But much like the old lefty Labour Burnham is hankering after, his lack of attention to growth increases fears of bigger deficits. Starmer was clear. Growing the economy meant more to spend on public svcs

You know that feeling when every idea expressed by the PM either comes from the EU or Keir Starmer? Well I do. Totally lacking in original thought.

And by his actions - undone the careful gradual and incremental approach of Keir Starmer. I'm wondering. Is there a political form of ADHD ?
Aargh! Burnham has culpably, carelessly, just for real life likes, opened up the raw Brexit wound with NO preparatory work, with no further progress in Europe to back his direction up, tabling all options as if a solution will emerge like magic. Watch the solid lines reform 🤦

We need to move on from toxic politics of welfare, with all its pejorative connotations of dependence (used to be known as social security), to the politics of well-being, whereby everyone has a meaningful stake - and related opportunities - in the society to which they belong.

I still seem to be receiving bot pile ons at any mention of Keir Starmer. Either international forces still see him as a threat or they’ve not been switched off since the coup … or our taxpayers money is funding them on behalf of the new govt. I certainly hope not.

I miss @Keir_Starmer. He made politics interesting & worthwhile. Now it's just cheap & nasty. Love this piece about him by @martinplaut on 9 July 2024. "Keir...listens more than he talks. But there is something about the way he does it that is entirely engaging. You know he is really listening, taking in your every word. Within 10 minutes I thought: “He’s not just our next MP, he’s our gift to the whole Labour Party.”" fairobserver.com/region/euro…
