Reform UK could never sustain the permanent campaign footing until a General Election.
And by constantly telling the world that Farage would be the next PM, the fall from grace is going to be far harder but … seriously spectacular.
It's been shown, time after time, that Reform receives wildly disproportionate media coverage in relation to their meagre size. What has that led to?
A dismal haul of four ex-Tories in two years.
Imagine their coverage was reined in a bit … now you see why they're starting Reform TV.
Farage knows the writing is on the wall, you can see the veil of defeat across his face. But what next?
He's in hock to some serious people for some very serious sums of money … and he's failed in his primary goal.
The police are sniffing around, and he's been caught on camera 'accepting' foreign donations. The Standards Commissioner is poised to drop the hammer at any moment and that forces his hand.
Will Clacton accept another by-election? Will he choose that minute to declare he's finally been outdone by 'the establishment' and flounce off to America?
Troubling times ahead for the man who would be king.

BREAKING:
Reform UK would win less seats than both Labour and the Conservatives if a general election were to be held today in a dramatic reversal of fortunes for Nigel Farage’s party, a YouGov MRP has found
The new large-scale seat by seat MRP by YouGov suggests the UK is currently heading for a hung Parliament with Labour as the largest party with 241 seats
The Conservatives would be in second place with 130 seats, better than their result in the 2024 general election, while Reform would be pushed into third place with 123 seats
If replicated at the next election the poll suggests that both Robert Jenrick and Suella Braverman, who deserted the Tories to join Farage, would lose their seats to their old party
Even if Reform and the Tories could agree a pact they would still not have enough seats to form a majority coalition government
However Labour would also struggle to govern having lost 162 of the 403 seats that it holds at present
It would have to rely on both the Liberal Democrats, predicted to win 71 seats, and the Greens, on nine, or one of the nationalist parties in order to command a majority in the Commons
It marks a stark reversal of Reform’s fortunes compared to a YouGov MRP a year ago:

I lost my father to knife crime, I’ve been stabbed twice, so I work with charities & community figures to try & educate youths.
I spread the #Knivesdown message to maybe millions every time I fight.
A man using a legally held marine knife to stab a dinghy ( not a person ) at sea, is not connected to the work I do to get knives of the streets. Boat knives are literally mandatory on board.
Grow up, maybe start trying to do some good through your actions.
