By the way, the 2018 charges aren't the last. They have also been charged for failing to provide documents from 2018-2023, the PL has also requested 2024 and 2025 and all have been refused. The PL will go after them for the later years, and then they will be "repeat" offenders, with even worse punishment than the first time. Man City are going bye bye, it is very simple.

Breaks your heart doesn't it. I don't know how long it will take me to get over the demise of Man City. ..I'm over it. Good riddance to a nothing club.

First Villa fan I have seen be pissed at City and not Liverpool / Man Utd. They have changed the course of how football would have looked the last 15 years. Endless possibilites of teams getting into Europe, challenging for trophies etc. Absolutely crazy.

We know its true, the 2018-2023 charges are in the lot that just came out. They were added to this case, they weren't in the UEFA case, but they could be added to this one, because they refused. 2024 and 2025 still technically isn't in the timeframe to charge yet.

Chatting out your arse. The 115 includes the charges up to 2023 however, the last of the financial charges are from 2018.

No lad, the 115 charges include the charges for FAILING TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTS. They can not go after the financial charges yet, because they’ve requested documents.. That’s how it starts, they request documents. Because it’s a lot easier and quicker to check, City have failed to provide them, again. And now the PL can go after them the same way they did here. In what world would they go for a financial charge before receiving their bank statements. The PL have requested 2024 and 2025 also, but the ones from 2018-2023 has passed the time frame now, so they’ve been charged with failing to provide the documents. This isn’t new news, this is well known and you can easily find this out.

I bet they aren’t the only club with dodgy dealings

But as far as we know, they are. Every other club provides it's books and records, only 1 team in history has refused to do this...

I said earlier they must investigate the last four years in conjunction so that patterns can be recognised. - If City continued to operate in exactly the same way, there should be further charges covering the period you mention. - If City changed the way they disclosed accounts, it's an admission of wrongdoing in the initial period being investigated.

How weak is the @premierleague ? If a team fails to provide the information you need from them, just cancel their season!!!! Not all money is good money. Simple!!

I imagine they’ll be sold. New owners will hand over the books.

Bet there’s so much more in the past 8 years. Haaland, Grealish, Phillips, Reijndeers, Mendy, Danilo, Savinho,Trafford, Gonzalez - the list of shady deals goes on. Always suspicious that Squad stacked with players, happy to be rotating while probably getting huge sums off-shore.

Towards the end of the period covered they reduced the base fees while further inflating the recorded revenue. They were accelerating their cheating.

There's Ibrahimovic/McGregor/Trump level arrogant and then there's the City ownership; another league. I've never witnessed chutzpah like that in my life.

the "repeat offender" bit is the real dagger here, theyve been banking on the first hearing being the whole story and the PL clearly isnt letting that slide

This is exactly what I was hoping they do. Right after this round of charges is finalized they get served with round 2 charges 2018-2026

I really enjoyed the competition in the premier league. Now, the lack of competition may make Arsenal less competitive in europe.

Considering they're one of the oldest clubs, that would be a shame. They need to be demoted to bottom most rung but continue to exist under new management.
