Anti-immigrant policies have driven thousands of workers out of FL. Instead of welcoming our immigrant neighbors back or raising wages, lawmakers want to replace them with underpaid teens, formerly incarcerated people, and those desperate enough to sign away their basic rights.
Florida Republicans and Gov. Ron DeSantis are preparing the most sweeping set of anti-worker bills in the country — rolling back labor protections for kids as young as 14 and even classifying older workers as interns or apprentices. 🚨THREAD🚨

Angie Nixon is taking on the billionaire class — and she's having fun doing it.
Dems in other states may be used to seeing this. But here in Florida? I don’t remember it. I believe @AngieNixon will shock people again in November and show Ashley Moody and the GOP that people can’t be taken for granted.

Poll after poll shows it — @AngieNixon can win Florida’s U.S. Senate race. While the political establishment was writing Florida off, Angie has been building a true grassroots movement for a Florida we can actually afford and an end to Moody’s blatant corruption. Lock in y’all.

. @LauraLoomer When referring to me, it’s Representative Angie Nixon. However after November 3rd, YOU CAN CALL ME SENATOR! Folks. Donate if you want to see this happen at AngieNixon.com
I called you a ghetto bitch, because you are, Angie, and your record proves it. But, you speak Ebonics though, so maybe I need to bark at you and tug your leash and then you’ll finally understand.

Scott continued raising money from AIPAC board members, despite saying he won't take AIPAC money. And now, he refuses to do an interview to discuss his views. Scott only said "genocide" for political expediency, and he'll change back if he's elected. You can't trust Scott.
Very disappointed that @Scott_Wiener cancelled our interview. I had hoped to give him what the hecklers at the Trans march didn't: The chance to thoughtfully answer people critical of his views on Israel-Palestine. On an issue this weighty, avoiding hard questions isn't good politics. Nor does it show moral courage.

Even as the entire machine worked against her, @DarializaforNY and the working people of NY-13 proved that organized people beats organized money every time!
So proud to send another Justice Democrat recruit from NY to Congress! @DarializaforNY's wins a seismic defeat of AIPAC & the establishment. She's the working class champion we need: always standing up to wealthy interests to fight for her #NY13 — no matter the personal cost.

Over 500 volunteers showed up at 6 AM this morning to get the vote out. In 2 hours, we put up over 20,000 door stickers to remind people to vote. Over the last year, we've built the largest field campaign in San Francisco history, and it's beautiful to see it in action today.

Asked if AIPAC funds come w/ instructions: “I can’t comment.” AIPAC wants to keep me out of the general election because I am the biggest threat to their power in DC.

A source who was present for the call between the donor mentioned below and SF congressional candidate Marie Hurabiell tells me that the donor was Moses Libitzky, a major pro-Israel advocate (president of the board of WINEP and a major real estate developer). She had called Libitzky hoping to win his support, but he told her on May 18 that he and his network were behind Scott Wiener and that Wiener had told him personally that even though he had called Gaza a genocide, he only did so because he was forced to politically, and that he believed Wiener remained a strong supporter of Israel. Wiener's spokesperson below denies this claim from Hurabiell. The second source who was present for the call confirmed the details to me, saying they were surprised at how candid Libitzky was. I asked Libitzky for comment, telling him that sources with knowledge of the call had told me that he was the one being described in this video below. Libitzky said it seemed to him that I "simply want to do an anti-Aipac story." I told him that I was only interested in finding out whether it was true that Wiener was saying one thing privately, and another publicly, about his views on Israel and whether it carried out a genocide. Libitzky told me: "Whatever was said to me by Scott or Marie is up to them to discuss with you." FEC records confirm Libitzy has given the max contribution to Wiener.
I’m @Scott_Wiener’s spokesman and I can state unequivocally that this is 100% false. @MHurabiell is a lying MAGA homophobe fringe candidate who spends her days ranting online. Ryan Grim is so desperate to stan for Saikat that he’s platforming a lunatic former Trump-appointee.

@mattxiv has always been an outspoken advocate for what's right — speaking out against the genocide in Gaza, the harms caused by AI, and shedding a light on the crimes committed by ICE. I'm proud to have his endorsement and am excited to earn your vote on June 2nd.

aipac knows that democrats who play ball w the establishment are malleable and are better for their cause than those who oppose israel w moral conviction. this is why i pointed out saikats demands for blocking defensive & offensive weapons as a signal for his authenticity

We're proud to endorse @saikatc for Congress in CA-11. Saikat has spent years fighting for the Green New Deal and taking on corporate power. He’s bringing that same courage to Congress to take on authoritarianism head-on and build a party for working people.

I’ve called San Francisco home since I was 23. It’s where I’ve met my closest friends, raised my daughter, built my life. This city gave me everything. I’m running for Congress to make sure the next generation can build a life here too.

Was walking back from the gym, and guess who I ran into 😀. Scott Wiener's best friend, and my #1 fan, Conor Johnston in his misinformation mobile! He had it parked a few doors from my house for the last several days. Hi Conor! Next time, come out and say hi, I won't bite!

Proud to work for a candidate putting his money where his mouth is. Especially in this moment when it seems as if nearly every ultra-wealthy person throwing down money in politics is supporting efforts that are anti-union, anti-worker, and anti-paying their fair share in taxes.
San Francisco congressional candidate Saikat Chakrabarti has donated $500,000 to a labor-backed ballot measure to overhaul the city’s tax system, days after Google co-founder Sergey Brin donated the same amount to a rival proposition. sfchronicle.com/sf/article/s…

First Rashida Tlaib and now Ilhan Omar are endorsing Saikat for Nancy Pelosi's old seat in San Francisco. Seems there is a pretty clear choice about who the real left-flank candidate is in that race.
