Perhaps the clearest example of how the media narrative has been perverted. Now imagine it’s the daily reporting you are reading, only you had no idea what really happened because it’s not the son of the Israeli ambassador and no one got the facts out before a staged camera crew.
🇵🇸 Israeli forces shot dead a 29-year-old Palestinian, Mahmoud Mohammad Mahmoud Suleiman, at a checkpoint near the illegal settlement of Beit Horon west of Ramallah, West Bank, on Wednesday, after what Israeli police described as a car-ramming that critically wounded a reservist. The soldier in the video below is Neria Leiter, son of Israel's ambassador to Washington, Yechiel Leiter.
Israel is withholding Suleiman's body. Forces sealed off his village, Beit Ur al-Tahta, and raided his family home. The checkpoint sits on land in the occupied West Bank, where Israeli settlements are illegal under international law.

It’s a difficult time for my family and me. A Palestinian terrorist rammed his car into my son, on reserve duty, while driving at full speed. Earlier today, I spoke to the press at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem where my son Neriyah (G-d’s flame) is being treated for severe injuries.
And if you don’t watch the whole thing, this is the bottom line: hundreds of thousands of people around the world are praying for our dear Neriyah, a 39 year-old economist and father of four. We feel those prayers, and we are deeply grateful for every one of them.
But his life is still in danger.
Please keep praying for him. We need a miracle.

This is legitimately disgraceful. The young man wasn’t asking for a lecture on US foreign policy. He was asking a question of basic morality. Huge swing and miss by El-Sayed.
Abdul can’t even condemn the IRGC, a group that murdered an estimated 40,000 Iranian civilians in the last year alone.
Abdul can’t condemn Hamas, the IRGC, the Houthis, or the enemies of America.
We deserve better.

Al-Nablus University in the West Bank sets up an exhibition celebrating the 9 August bombing of a Sbarro restaurant in Israel, in which 16 civilians were killed.
The Palestinian Authority makes the effort to build a mock Sbarro storefront and include props of mutilated body parts, to trumpet the perceived success of Palestinian resistance against Israel.

He refused to condemn the Islamic regime/IRGC killing 50,000 protesters in a matter of days.
But still frequently uses the lie of genocide to describe Israel's war against Hamas in Gaza. The young man asked nothing about regime change wars or who should stop it.
This is insane. A Persian student at UMich just asked Abdul El-Sayed the question every Democrats runs from.
“Do you stand WITH US against the IRGC?”
The regime that hangs protesters, funds Hamas, and chants death to America.
El-Sayed wouldn’t say yes.
He hid behind “freedom and democracy” and “America shouldn’t topple governments.”
A U.S. Senate candidate. Asked by a kid whose family was hunted by the IRGC. And he still couldn’t pick a side.
In a sane country, this would end his campaign immediately.

Can’t condemn IRGC?
An Iranian-American student at Michigan stood up, named the IRGC, named the hunt for his cousin over a hijab, and asked Abdul El-Sayed a simple question: do you stand with us?
El-Sayed answered like a man protecting a talking point. Sanctions hurt civilians. Regime-change wars serve corporate interests. Freedom and democracy for all people, including Iranians. Then he sat back down on the same moral furniture he never uses for Israel.
That is the tell to look for among leftists. For Palestinians he has a prosecutor’s voice: genocide, embargo, isolate, intervene, punish Israel (which is an ally of United States). For Iranians he has a greeting-card. He will not say IRGC. He will not say Islamic Republic. He will not match the heat he aims at Jerusalem with a single hard sentence about the people who shot innocent Iranians in the street in January or hanged them since.
He warns that American pressure “only hurts civilians.” The civilians in question were already being hunted by the IRGC before a single new sanction was printed. The student said it to his face: we are dying. El-Sayed converted a massacre into a lecture about oil and contractors.
This is not anti-war consistency. It is a caste system of victims. One file gets rallies, resolutions, and a demand that United States break an ally. The other file gets “I wish you freedom” and a warning not to touch the regime that produces the bodies. If the death toll in January had carried a Palestinian flag, he would have called it a crime against humanity before the blood dried. Because it was Iranian, it became a cautionary tale about American hubris.
The left’s selective outrage is not a mystery anymore. It is a hierarchy. Iranians are expected to overthrow a theocracy unarmed and with slogans while he treats any outside pressure as imperialism. Israel is expected to be sanctioned into the ground. Same campus. Same microphone. Two moral codes.
If you cannot condemn the IRGC as plainly as you condemn Israel, you do not stand with freedom. You stand with the audience that claps for one pile of dead and looks away from the other.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh went on Qatari television and called on every Muslim in the world to join Hamas’s war against Israel. Throughout the day, Gazans were pouring into Israel, carrying out barbaric atrocities, taking grandmothers and young girls as hostages, and posting videos for the world to see. From the safety of their underground tunnels, Hamas guys were firing thousands of rockets at Israeli population centers. Nobody in Qatar thought it might be wise at this moment to say: “Hey wait a second, we shouldn’t give a platform to the organization that is burning Israeli families to death in their homes right now. Hamas must stop this. Release all the hostages immediately and without conditions.” That’s because Qatar was thrilled that Hamas was able to execute such an operation. Qatar wanted to help Hamas secure the release of convicted Palestinian terrorists from Israeli prisons AND ensure that the masterminds of the massacre would remain in power and in a position to do it all again. That is always what Qatar had in mind when it used the word “deal.”
Mehdi Hasan’s goal is to delegitimize ANY attempt to physically harm a Hamas member. He does not think it was right for Israel to kill a single Hamas fighter in Gaza. He does not think the October 7 Massacre justified ANY Israeli military response in Gaza. The rest is noise.
Hamas offered to release them on day one, as now know, and Israel refused because they wanted war and vengeance over saving the hostages. This is now well established and proven, despite the lies from shills like you over the past three years
