Academic “economists” hate actual economics for the same reason academic “philosophers” hate Ayn Rand. Both are exposed as useless by the application of critical thought to discover the truth. It’s self-preservation for the grifter class.
Opposite the monetarist, neo-Austrian, and MMT religions, the only limit to money in circulation isn’t a central bank, a Treasury, a Mint, or a printing press, rather it’s a lack of production. Where there’s production there’s always money simply because the sole purpose of production is to attain commensurate goods and services in return. MMT is as old as money exactly because for as long as money has existed, PhDs and the political economists who preceded them tried to philosophize something for nothing with money, including their own employment. There was no need. Production IS money, always and everywhere. So long as there's production, there will always be money or derivatives of same to facilitate exchange. Economists are excess. forbes.com/sites/johntamny/2

Obama: It's a "basic principe of democracy" to not prosecute the other party đŸ€Ą
It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically. Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country. Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case. Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve. In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota. The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

The leftists think Islamists want to help them institute Marxism. Islamists laugh at the leftists for helping them knowing they’ll just kill them all the first chance they get.
A French woman who supported France’s left wing government and the protests asks why left wing protesters are looting her store. It’s a perfect distillation of left wing decisions, this is where it all leads.

The footage is a year old, but still shows the inevitable results of open immigration. So many of my fellow liberty lovers somehow have forgotten that vetting immigrants is a vital component of a rights-respecting immigration policy. Islamists throughout the west should be rounded up and dropped off on the Arabian peninsula.
🚹 Paris is on fire as rioters take over across France: Over 500,000 people have taken to the streets across France. Protesters and rioters have set fire to historic buildings, destroyed famous statues, and looted thousands of stores. Police have been seen driving away after being attacked and overwhelmed by the number of rioters as clashes broke out across every major city in France. Let this be a warning sign for the rest of the West: Hundreds of years of work and preservation gone in one day.

Every time something happens in the Grand Conspiracy case in Florida, Obama jumps on the plane to fly to the UK. He rushed to London last year when the subpoenas were issued (video attached) Now he is in the UK again just as Brennan is facing the Grand Jury. Why? Because Obama and Brennan ran CIA operations against President Trump and his aides from the UK, with help from British intelligence chiefs. The CIA cannot operate against American citizens in the US, let alone against an opposing political campaign. So Obama's friends in the UK helped him to target Donald Trump. Richard Dearlove, former head of British intelligence, Christopher Steele, who worked for Dearlove, Stefan Halper, Brennan's CIA operative based in the UK, numerous others. CIA station chief in London was Gina Haspel, who later covered up all the evidence. She worked with Alan Kohler who became the head of FBI counterintelligence and raided President Trump's home, Mar-a-Lago to steal and hide Russiagate documents.

Celebrities like Angelina Jolie are selling their Los Angeles homes for millions below asking price. Others like Aaron Paul are even choosing to live in faraway countries rather than spend another minute in the city. It’s not just a Hollywood trend, either: LA County as a whole lost roughly 54,000 residents last year, the most of any county in the US. Why? Government regulations and ineffective socialist property taxes, of course. LA’s “mansion tax,” which puts a 4% tax on property sales above $5 million to fund “affordable housing,” has inadvertently suppressed the sale of 9,100 homes, cost the equivalent of 16,650 construction jobs, and a class of small-time developers are getting crushed. Meanwhile, the city has spent only about 10% of its collections from the tax, and on deeply questionable projects: one is an $800,000 per unit development that still hasn’t broken ground after 4 years. In addition, condo construction, historically a stepping stone to homeownership for middle-class families, has collapsed by roughly 90% thanks to other burdensome regulations. All of this, of course, comes as the Palisades remains largely unreconstructed. @nicolewizman1 breaks down how LA destroyed its housing market, triggering a massive exodus 👇

Did any of these people say this stuff when Trump was raided by what we now know was a politically targeted operation? Something tells me it was a lot of “no one is above the law
” The hypocrisy is nauseating
No president should be able to weaponize the federal government against political enemies and we cannot grow numb to this. Donald Trump has a clear record of doing exactly this. We are days before the election, and everyone should be deeply suspicious of President Trump’s justice department and their actions against any sitting member of congress. Moreover, Trump himself continues to prove how detached he is from the most pressing concerns Americans are facing, and why his agenda of cruelty, chaos and corruption must be checked.

Perhaps the single dumbest lawsuit the Supreme Court has ever seen. The entire thing crumbles with any sort of pointed questioning. It’s sad I don’t trust the Supreme Court to undergo that endeavor.

Opening arguments in Boulder County's suit against Suncor kicked off this week, and yesterday we got our first clues as to what the justices are thinking. But with the Supremes playing a man down after Alito's recusal, it remains to be seen what a majority can come together for.

Killing social security is on the short list of the best things that could be done for America. It’s such a massive wealth destroyer, and was designed to keep people poor and dependent on government. It’s disgusting all around.
I would agree to a plan to phase out social security over the next 25 years, even knowing that it means the system will end right at the moment when I would start drawing a check. If that means that my kids and grandchildren aren’t subjected to this scam for their entire lives, I’m willing to take that hit. I just can’t for the life of me understand or relate to the older people who don’t feel that way and wouldn’t be willing to make the sacrifice for the sake of their descendants. Totally foreign mentality to me. I truly find it baffling. Setting my kids up for the future is like one of the only things I care about anymore.
