Another woke movie, Wildwood, with LGBTQ+ characters, flops horribly. Same sex couples, lesbian and gay couples, two men kissing, with various pronoun talk in the movie.
The budget was $100 million, and it only made $15 million globally after 5 days of release.
Another one that went woke, and goes broke.
Evidently, the stop-motion movie took 16 years to make. What a waste of an art form; all that hand-crafted animation just went into the garbage.

This is, quite literally, Laika's magnum opus. 15 years of work condensed into a spectacular, 2-hour moving piece of art. PLEASE go see this movie.
Wildwood is truly an achievement in stop motion & filmmaking. Travis Knight’s best work as a filmmaker.
The animation is as stunning as expected but still so mind blowing to witness. It’s the best looking film of 2026.
I am just so glad that this exists, go & support Wildwood!
