I will get it done. Here's how you can, too.
1. Get access to your county's voter registration rolls. This can be done through your County GOP.
2. You need to find registered Republicans (around your age) who are 3/4 or 4/4 propensity voters, meaning they've voted in 3 or 4 of the last 4 elections. If you really need to reach, identify those 2/4 voters, too.
3. Find out how many of those voters live within ~15 minutes of you. See if your County GOP can just give you this list or a map. (Most County GOP offices are absolute dogshit, unfortunately, which is why we need to staff them with our guys who can do this.)
4. Get in touch with them. If you can get phone numbers or emails, great. Send them *HIGHLY PERSONALIZED* messages. (This could mean looking them up on social media to see what they're posting about, then, within reason, aligning your messaging to the issues they care about.) If all you have is an address, you will have to go door knocking. Do it either during the week from 6-8pm or on a Saturday morning, 10am-12pm.
5. Your BRIEF message should look/sound like this: "Hey, my name is [John Smith] and I'm reaching out to help Republicans cross the finish line in midterm elections. Do you plan to vote for the Republican ticket?"
> If yes, *HIGHLY* encourage them to vote early, which starts on 17 October.
> If no, follow up with this: "No problem. Can I ask your top issue this year?" Then LISTEN. Don't try to argue or debate. Your mission is to tie that specific issue to a specific candidate or reason why they should go vote. That could be as simple as saying that the future of Texas is on the line. We need your vote because if Democrats win, they will try to turn Texas permanently blue, and we will end up as the next California. Use your words. Be persuasive. And then deliver the ask: "Can our Texas Republicans count on your vote?" If yes, ask if they want a text reminder to go vote, then grab their number and TEXT THEM when early voting starts. If they still say no, you are probably wasting your time, bid them farewell, and go engage the next voter.
6. Lastly, 90% of organizing is in the follow-up. So follow up! Get in touch with these voters again for early voting. These are like-minded people who LIVE AROUND YOU, so this is also the perfect opportunity to begin organizing them, or even just becoming a friend.
Your goal is to find 15 voters and get them to the polls for early voting. Elections are NOT won on Election Day. They are won in the last few weeks. And it's important, so important, to mobilize during early voting.
So, that's your mission. You can follow through, or you can be a disgrace to our Founders (ancestor cry) and generations of American Patriots who came before you. Don't give up the ship!

Boreing says that heritage Americans can't exist because Americans have a tangled web of ancestry of latecomers and new arrivals. Thing is, the post 1965 immigrants do not. So I guess we do know what a heritage American is. Thanks Jeremy!

The metric system has it's uses (where converting between measurements is frequent), but it's a soulless, deracinated system that breaks you from your ancestors.
My wife grew up on the metric system, and she says the mile is the most ridiculous unit ever invented.
For years, she had me. But history claps back....
The word comes from Latin, mille passus, a thousand paces.
A Roman pace was two steps, counted each time the same foot hit the ground. A thousand of those made a mile.
Along the Appian Way, built in 312 BC, stone markers stood at every thousand paces, counted outward from a gate in Rome's old wall. A traveler read the distance off the road itself.
The strange number came much later. In 1593, Parliament under Elizabeth I set the mile at 5,280 feet so it would divide evenly into furlongs, the length of an English farmer's furrow.
So the odd number is a Roman soldier's stride, adjusted to fit an English field.
I love that. Every time you say "mile," you are still counting the steps of a legionary marching south out of Rome.....

It's too bad there wasn't at least one more Muppets movie in this format, honestly I wish they were still putting out one every few years to this day. It's a perfect film format for them: classic literature with muppets in the supporting roles & a juicy role for a "real" actor. Muppet Treasure Island actually did even better at the box office than Christmas Carol so I don't get why they bailed on the concept for the forgettable "Muppets From Space" next

This is surprising and premature to say the least. As we look ahead to the fee hearing for our legal costs, we have seen no apologies or contrition for the abusive three-year campaign TYRF waged against us—which was not limited to the lawfare that we finally defeated this summer.
Real unity requires real accountability.
I'm hearing that Texas Young Republicans Federation is applying to the @TexasGOP Partnerships and Coalitions Committee.
I'll just make clear that their lawsuit against @YRsOfTexas is ongoing. There is a hearing in the case relating to the attorneys' fees/costs TYRF owes set to be heard September 28th.
TYRF has made no effort to make amends for their actions in suing YRT, has made no apology for attempting to "drag YRT's members into the gutter of the justice system," has made no offers to settle the litigation despite repeated defeats. In fact, the last we've heard, they are still considering appealing those losses to the Texas Supreme Court.
I have no idea why on earth RPT would want two rival youth auxiliaries—one full of patriots who are committed to the party and its platform, and one who disavowed the party and filed years of vexatious litigation against a bunch of young Republican activists.
