@natbrunell This part of the interview really resonated. Hearing you talk about not truly understanding money for a decade after college felt familiar. I had a similar path, except it took until my 40s and reading The Bitcoin Standard for it to finally click. I shared the clip with my kids tonight because starting early is basically a cheat code, and I want them to hear that it’s okay if it doesn’t all make sense right away. Appreciate you saying it. 🧡 #Investing #Compounding #FinancialLiteracy 📈

Brilliant!
Announcement of expected intention to buy £10 of MORE every trading day and Notice of Household General Meeting BitcoinBee today announces that he is considering the possible acquisition of £10 of MORE Preferred Shares on each trading day (the “Possible Daily Purchase Programme”), subject to approval by the household budgeter at a forthcoming Household General Meeting. If approved, any weekly dividends received from MORE will be reinvested into further MORE Preferred Shares, subject to market conditions, available household cash and continued spousal consent. A Household General Meeting will be convened in due course at which the household budgeter will be asked to consider and, if thought fit, approve the Possible Daily Purchase Programme. BitcoinBee commented: “Today’s announcement marks an important step for the BitcoinBee household. Subject to approval by the household budgeter, we expect the proposed £10-a-day purchase programme to be the first of its kind in the UK: a pounds sterling-denominated, London Stock Exchange Main Market-listed perpetual preferred share purchased every trading day by a private individual. The proposed programme is designed to provide an additional source of weekly income, broaden the range of securities held by the household and further diversify our capital structure. We have been working towards the Possible Daily Purchase Programme for several minutes and I am very pleased that we are now able to share this exciting development with our followers. This is a natural next step in our 10-Year Plan.” A further announcement will be made following the conclusion of the Household General Meeting.

This is a piss take
Another twist “A farmer driving home in the early hours of Sunday morning saw the vans, surrounded by men in balaclavas, and alerted police at 1.36am. However, The Times understands the authorities were already on the scene by then because the suspect had called nearly one hour earlier.” Suspect foiled RAF Fairford ‘bomb plot’ by ringing police himself thetimes.com/article/72536db…

You can restore your attention span at any time by reading books. Lock the phone away for 2 hours and make serious headway in a book. Do this multiple days in a row. Start with short books because you’ll enjoy finishing them rapidly. Scrolling brain can be reversed.
Im going to build my brain back up to reading tons of books again

BMG polling just out has shown what percentage of the public would consider voting for a Restore Britain candidate at the next general election. An astonishing 29.6% for Restore Britain. The figure for Reform? 29.5%. Labour on 32.5%. Restore Britain can win the next election.

This is exactly why SWC using the Coinbase facility below NAV was such good business. They borrowed £1.8m when the shares were around 0.70x mNAV rather than issuing cheap equity. At 0.70x, raising £1.8m would effectively have given new investors £2.57m of NAV. Instead, they later raised equity around 70p, which equates to roughly 1.58x mNAV. At 1.58x, £1.8m of equity only gives away around £1.14m of NAV. That’s roughly a £1.43m improvement in economic value for existing shareholders Borrow below NAV, issue well above NAV, repay the debt. That is very smart capital allocation.

Under these rules, if you leave YOUR property, that YOU OWN, empty for just six months, the state can *seize it*. This is a horrifying attack on private property rights. Your property belongs to you. This Government is going to steal it if they don't like how you use it.
It’s not a silver bullet but bringing more empty homes back into use can help solve the housing crisis. Today, we’re announcing strengthened powers for councils to take control of long-term empty homes and use them to house families in need.

The internet has thousands of creators who do a better job of entertaining than the BBC or any subsidised arts body. Citizen journalists get closer to the truth than the BBC or Channel 4. Danny Tommo does a better job of defending our borders than the Home Office, and is arrested for his trouble You get better data from independent research than rom the ONS. Independent analysts make better forecasts than the OBR. Bitcoin and gold are both better money than whatever the Bank of England is currently debasing. You get better knowledge online than you do at school or university. AI diagnoses most things faster and more accurately than a GP. You get more truth about Covid origins and vaccines online than you do from the medical establishment. Self-driving cars are better than TfL. Lime bikes are better than Boris bikes. A private pension lets you own and manage your own retirement assets rather than state-mandated bond buying. You can buy a prefab house online for less than £100,000. The problem is where to put it. Which wouldn't be a problem were it not for planning laws. What gets subsidised should be decided by the person paying for it And on and on. Everywhere you look, the private sector does a better job, to a higher standard and for a lower price. So what, exactly, is the point of the state?

We just sentenced an anti-immigration protester to two years. What sentence is appropriate for people who, at a time of high international tensions, violently and illegally destroy what little defence capacity we have?
