A strong implication here that this horrific murder was committed by a migrant, and plenty of responses running with that narrative.
Meanwhile the victim's white, middle class husband has been arrested.
The problem is, and has always been, men.
A GP. A mother of three. Dead in her own home in Dersingham, a mile from Sandringham, while she was hosting a sleepover for her children’s friends.
Police called at 2.20am. Children taken out of the house to safety. A man in his 40s arrested on suspicion of murder.
She had left a previous practice to spend more time with her young family. Neighbours say she was a lovely woman. They also say this is the sort of village where you can leave the car unlocked all night and nothing happens.
That Britain is gone.
Not in a city centre at closing time. In a detached house backing onto the King’s estate, during a kids’ sleepover. If a family doctor is not safe in her own home in a “crime-free” Norfolk village, stop telling people the danger is somewhere else.
The suspect has not been named. The investigation is at the start. None of that changes what those children were in the house for.
Rest in peace, Dr Hannah Terry.
