I can’t wrap up my mind and needs some cracked edges to why hold 100% of my $VAR exposure for the next 24months
First of all swaps are an amazing product and I believe it will onboard great users to use variational but is that enough??
I know the architecture is superior , acting as a brokerage we have been seeing $IBKR I.e, interactive brokers despite being trading at $100B+ fdv from past 2 years and still rising by 40% each year the business model that variational is trying to achieve is remarkable.
We also know the upcoming partnerships are here to help the demand with rising in demand for perps/swaps being able to hedge them and provide a lower execution costs.
But all of this doesn’t matter without major distribution channels where users use it directly or indirectly so my question here is :
Can variational 10x the volumes from here after TGE just because it can provide everything without any more distribution channels like how lighter has it with tg,robinhood,minara AI etc??
Ik I’m not factoring PRO here but once we see clearly of what PRO brings to the table I believe the answers will be more accurate and interesting.

I don’t see any reason to why @extendedapp can’t reach $1B FDV with current strategic partnerships and future distribution channels.
Maybe my scoring mechanism to perp dexes had high weightage to partnerships and I guess that’s how it should be if you want to hold the token after TGE.

Can someone explain what is new about this , I’ve been seeing some signing up!!!
Now that we have near intents powered perps on hyperliquid, privacy perp dexes with the earliest ones like @hibachi_xyz why would I need more privacy dexes with just privacy as a moat.
Am I missing anything that u can analyze if so please explain.

This 200k followers crypto influencer wants to provide funding for a team that builds options markets on @extendedapp .
The first thing I did was check his profile and he is based in Europe so he clearly he knows that only extended has the superior hand to get legalized in Europe.
If lighter is at $5B at reaches more by EPY with options or prediction markets launch what’s stopping extended to reach 20% of it.
IMO $1B FDV is inevitable if the distribution channels via recent partnerships turns out to be good.

This quant is saying that - On any symbol variational take more than 2x the cost you would have by routing your order yourelf and trashing @variational_io .
The real question is:
How much percentage of perps traders are actually profitable and even if they are how much percentage of them ever did market making,order routing and have multiple CEX benefits in all those CEXs where he has been routing to seven different CEXs.
Even if variational is able to do it with these costs it’s still 1/3rd of hyperliquid spread and now that all the revenue is 100% going into buybacks it creates more buybacks and burns.
@variational_io is supposed to be a smart order router for the ones who didn't notice, people glazing varatioscam as if it was a game changer

If this guy is running delta neutral to farm @Lighter_xyz $LIT points between lightercore and robinhood chain with same funding fees that’s actually artificial inflating the market and there is no mistake if they cut the points for doing this in my view it’s same as using 2 accs and doing the same which gets you points cut.
But if the delta neutral used here is a +EV in terms of net funding fee as realized pnl he should have a right to appeal.

Qué cagada se mandaron los de Lighter Robinhood. Hicieron caer a los usuarios en una trampa y ahora no se hacen cargo.
Todo comenzó con el post en Discord de que había un multiplicador 2.5x operando en delta neutral entre Lighter Robinhood y Core.
Es decir, operar en simultáneo abriendo delta neutral: long en uno y short en el otro, con la misma cuenta.
¿Qué pasó? Que esta estrategia rompe muchas reglas de Lighter, te pone automáticamente en lista negra y te banean los puntos de los viernes.
¿Por qué? Porque al hacer DN de esa manera, según sus términos, estás inflando el mercado.
@Lighter_xyz, lo he apoyado incondicionalmente, pero esta vez sentí que me defraudaron. Nunca me pasó con ningún DEX de perpetuos.
Abrís ticket en Discord y te cortan el rostro. Pareciera que tu duda o inquietud no le interesa a nadie.
Qué sabor amargo me llevo de Lighter. Es una lástima, porque venía contento con cómo funcionaban las cosas.
