MY THESIS ON $LION warning: long post look at what this memecoin has already survived 90% drawdowns, months of accumulation, still 4k+ holders, and the meme itself has stayed relevant for years. here’s a post of trump using the meme in 2015: nitter.net/realdonaldtrump/status… a quick search on social media will show normies are still engaging with the meme too. it’s a timeless meme. when it launched, you had people like alon - nitter.net/a1lon9/status/19601095… mert - nitter.net/mert/status/1978942161… json - nitter.net/json1444/status/197916… toly - nitter.net/toly/status/1985483262… and lots of big accounts/companies posting and engaging with it karken - nitter.net/krakenfx/status/197699… pumpfun - nitter.net/pumpfun/status/1977807… solfare - nitter.net/solflare/status/197923… KFC - nitter.net/kfc/status/19734956481… and it still only topped around $10m mcap considering it launched in a bear market, that’s pretty crazy when you actually think about it because if it gets similar attention in a proper bull market, i don’t see why $100m+ can’t be on the table we’re seeing memecoins with way less motion than LION had in the bear market reach insane valuations right now then there’s the chart it’s spent a long time building through compression/sideways accumulation, downside looks exhausted, and it’s starting to look like it has bottomed that’s why i’m willing to sit through the chop the structure hasn’t been invalidated it’s just a matter of when.. 8NfK7b9u1RvMpHJnAnZki4mNQwjhvzrVZs7bRQatpump

The hardest thing in trading isn’t analysis. It’s waiting. Waiting for confirmation. Waiting for alignment. Waiting for liquidity. Most traders don’t lose because they’re wrong. They lose because they’re early.

normal ppl dont understand the extreme level of neurodivergence required to hit these massive trades u must have extreme adhd to be early to a narrative + main coin then, u must have the exact opposite, extreme patience/discipline, to be able to hold that coin through 70-90% drawdowns, periods of zero volatility, and endless waves of fud one mindset to enter, complete opposite mindset to exit few

You must learn to live with drawdowns When a real business has a bad quarter, they don't panic and burn down the building They audit the data, isolate the operational leak, and adjust Most of you take five consecutive losses personally, revenge trade to get your money back, and blow up by Friday Profitable traders pull up the trade log, verify every setup against their criteria, and keep executing If a red month makes you question your entire career, you never had an edge in the first place

one thing i’ve learned trading memecoins the setup rarely looks obvious while you’re actually in it most of the clarity comes afterward

update: currently down -25%, still holding. my thesis and conviction hasn’t changed being early doesn’t always look good on the PnL
what do you guys think happens to a memecoin that has been accumulating and trading sideways for 6-7+ months ? the timeline is not prepared.

I used to think getting better meant finding more setups, taking more trades & catching more moves. I was completely naive. I think improvement looks like rejecting 95% of what I see and becoming stupidly aggressive when MY pitch finally shows up. More knowledge should eventually create fewer decisions, not more.

The hardest part about the cycle is now sitting your on hands in your spot positions and doing absolutely nothing but letting the trade play out

Once you open a position, step away from the chart. Many people keep staring at the chart and worrying, but this does nothing but harm. The underlying problem is what drives you to do it. You are placing far too much importance on the outcome of that one trade. If you have set your stop loss and take profit, and your rules call for no further action until your next check, there is no need to keep watching. Even if you use a trailing stop instead of a take profit, you can work out when you next need to check the chart and set an alarm, or use price alerts, rather than watch the screen constantly. Do not fill the precious hours of your life with worry. Even when I have a position open, I forget all about it until a notification arrives on my phone and spend my time on the other things that matter in life.

btw pro tip for the new guys: during a bull market you should actually be doing *less*, not more by over-rotating on your positions trying to catch the latest thing, or worst still, chase what is pumping, you mathematically erode your gains ex: → you hold $10k of token X. it doesn't move for weeks → you get bored, sell it, and buy token Y, which is already up 50% → Y goes up another 10%. you're at $11k. you feel smart. you don't take profit → Y cools off and drops 27% from the top. you're now at $8k → meanwhile X, the token you sold, finally runs 50% if you had done nothing: $15k because you "did something": $8k. 7k gap from one rotation, and a +25% to get back to where you started in a bull market, the most important thing to do, is sit on your hands. ideally you should have planned, allocated, and all you have left to do now is to hold.

The burden of being too early is exiting prematurely then watching worse traders than you outearn you on trades you were bullish on weeks/months before them

People lost their way, they forgot how to dream. Started watching every FOMC COMC AND CHONC while waiting to see if a clarity bill passes. A clarity bill? For shitfartInu? Wake up to yourself The power of collective belief has been lost Many are buying coins for a 50% gain, maybe a 2x, hell, my even a 5x. I didn't come to crypto for that, I could just lever up on real assets for that. I came here for retirement. I came here to retire my children. For a memecoin to go as high as they have in the past, you need to be completely and utterly delusional, and brother, I am You have been conditioned by broccoli headed rats that you can sell for your 30% gain and move on to the next. Sure, maybe you can, but you're battling 20,000 other giganerds doing the same. Have you considered just accumulating a bag and doing everything in your power to help send it to BILLIONS OF DOLLARS. With a B. I don't care for millions, hundreds of millions might get me out of bed, but billions? That's the goal. Do you know how delusional the top holders of coins like Pepe, shib, doge etc etc had to be? To look at a bag worth $50m and think "oh man I still want more". Find a coin you like, craft a thesis for it, and get absolutely and utterly delusional, because where we are going, selling is going to hurt much more than buying

It’s easy to get chopped up rushing aggressively into markets like crypto the moment things start looking better. Without a long, deep washout beforehand, major trend changes rarely happen cleanly. They take time, chop around, and punish anyone leaning too hard in either direction, bull or bear. If you take the full bull position early you better be prepared to at least be challenged. If you sense the trend shift coming, scaling in and accumulating on solid dips while weathering the chop puts you in a good position to stand tough and then flip fully bullish when it becomes an obvious change in trend.
